WATCH: Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen Breaks Down in TEARS After Ending Re-Election Bid

Yesterday, longtime Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen announced that he is ending his bid for re-election.

This comes after his home state of Tennessee re-drew congressional maps to dismantle his blue district, drastically reducing his chances of winning this November.

We covered that in more detail here:

Rep. Cohen has been serving in Congress as Tennessee's only Democrat representative since 2007.

This photo will probably serve as his legacy:

Now, he's breaking down into tears on live TV over the end of his career.

During a recent interview with Chris Cuomo, Rep. Cohen literally started crying while complaining about how the redistricting in his state forced him to drop out.

See for yourself:

Oh, please. How pathetic.

Democrats have been unfairly gerrymandering maps across the nation for decades.

It's only now that Republicans are working to set things right again that Democrats like Rep. Cohen are upset.

The icing on the cake to all of this is that Rep. Cohen is complaining about Tennessee eliminating a race-based district, which SCOTUS recently ruled unconstitutional.

But, he (an old, white man) may actually end up being replaced by a black Republican woman...

Charlotte Bergman is one of the candidates running in the GOP primary in his 9th District:

If Bergman ends up winning the race, wouldn't that be incredibly ironic?

Patriots on X don't have a lot of sympathy for Rep. Cohen's grievances:
