As we previously reported, President Trump has been floating the idea of changing the name of ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement) to NICE (National Immigration & Customs Enforcement.)
But, unfortunately, it looks like the name change won’t be happening.
Tonight, during his second Rose Garden Club dinner in honor of Police Week, President Trump provided an update on the potential change.
He says that he loved the idea, but Border Czar Tom Homan didn’t!

LMFAO! President Trump announces Tom Homan REBUFFED the proposal to rename ICE to “NICE”
Looks like the change isn’t happening 🤣
“They said the people that worked there didn’t like the name as much. I love the name!”
“I get a call from Tom Homan and he didn’t like it, but everyone else liked it. I wanted to change the name of ICE, which is a tough name, you know, to NICE. So that when the fake news reports, they said it was a nice day with NICE! We spent a beautiful day with NICE!”
It would have been hilarious to watch the media be forced to refer to immigration authorities as “NICE agents!”
But, oh well.
As long as they continue deporting illegal criminals, it doesn’t matter what name they have!
What do you think?
Should Tom Homan reconsider President Trump’s proposal to rename ICE to NICE?
