The depths of Democratic Party corruption seem to know no bounds … even as party leaders continue to project their own corruption onto President Donald Trump.
For one prominent party official in Virginia, some prior anti-Trump comments are resurfacing in the context of an FBI raid on her business.
Fox News provided these details:
A powerful Virginia Democratic lawmaker’s online jab at President Donald Trump that “no one is above the law” is coming back to haunt her after her office and a business she co-owns were raided by the FBI Wednesday.
ADVERTISEMENTState Sen. L. Louise Lucas, a major power broker in Virginia politics and ally of Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger, is known for hot takes, often laced with vulgar language, that she frequently posts on social media. In 2023, she posted that then-former President “Donald Trump just learned no is above the law!”
Now, her post is garnering new attention following the news of the FBI raids, with X users pointing the finger back at her.
Here’s a sampling of her social media comeuppance … perhaps you’ll notice a theme:

Some comments linked her remarks to a crude catchphrase Lucas has taken to using to describe the politically lopsided congressional map Virginia Democrats drew up to give their party 10 districts to the GOP’s one:
@SenLouiseLucas: “10 to f-ing 1”
FBI: “How about 10 to f-ing life”

Here’s more on the FBI raid, per NBC News:
A federal law enforcement official said that the Drug Enforcement Administration is involved in the investigation but that drugs are not the primary focus.
ADVERTISEMENTLucas suggested Wednesday evening that the FBI search was a form of retaliation for her work on Virginia’s redistricting effort.
“Today’s actions by Federal agents are about far more than one state senator; they are about power and who is allowed to use it on behalf of the people. What we saw fits a clear pattern from this administration: when challenged, they try to intimidate and silence the voices who stand up to them,” Lucas said in a statement posted to her X account that referenced last month’s redistricting referendum results.
“I will have more to say in the days ahead, but know this: I am not backing down, and I will keep fighting for the people of Portsmouth and the Commonwealth of Virginia,” she added.
