CHAOS: Democrats Go BERSERK After Tennessee House Passes New Congressional Map

This just in: the Tennessee House has passed a new Congressional map, which is expected to take away the state’s only blue district!

Under the new map, all nine districts in Tennessee are favored to be Republican.

The final vote was 64-25-3, largely along party lines.

However, two Republican state representatives from Memphis sided with Democrats against the bill.

WREG reported:

Tennessee lawmakers in the House of Representatives have passed the bill that will split Memphis along new congressional lines.

Memphis will be split into three congressional districts per the new map, which passed in the Tennessee General Assembly’s special session on redistricting Thursday, May 7.

Democrats in the state house have railed against the push to redraw congressional lines outside of the decennial census, calling the move a “grave, grave rollback of rights” for Black Tennesseans and especially for Memphians.

This is a huge step towards fair districts, but the Tennessee map isn’t finalized yet. It now heads to the Senate for a vote before being sent to the governor’s desk for final approval.

After today’s vote in the House, Democrats in the chamber had a complete and total freak-out.

They threw a giant tantrum, screaming, waving signs and blowing airhorns.

Watch this for yourself:

One Democrat was spotted playing tug-of-war with the Senate Sergeant at Arms when he tried to take away her ridiculous banner:

Some of the Democrats even had to be forcibly removed from the chamber by officers:

What a clown show!

Democrats are in full-on frenzy mode now that Republicans are fighting back to make the maps fair again.

We saw a similar thing happen after the Florida House passed its new congressional map:

Democrats are so upset because the maps that they have been unfairly gerrymandering for years are now getting set back straight -- and, it means that they could lose bigly this November.

Tennessee is one of several states in the South that plan to re-draw fair districts after the Supreme Court's bombshell ruling outlawing racial gerrymandering.

Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, and Mississippi are also actively moving to redistrict before midterms.

And, all these states are doing it completely by-the-book, unlike the completely unconstitutional Democrat power grab in Virginia, which is currently being challenged in the state's Supreme Court.

Keep up the wins, GOP!

If this continues, we could be in store for a massive red wave this fall...

Fingers crossed!
