Candace Owens has some explaining to do.
On Tuesday, TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk called out Candace Owens for claiming she murdered her husband, Charlie.
In case you haven’t seen Erika make the remarks, you can watch them here:
Erika Kirk just CALLED OUT Candace Owens…
“Every morning I wake up to another headline lying about me. I have comedians dressing up in whiteface, I have people saying I'm not fit to be CEO, & I have Candace Owens claiming that I murdered my husband.” pic.twitter.com/kn0UYtLOh0

In response to Erika, Owens denied Erika’s claims and shared, “Of everything I’ve said about Erika, she chooses to respond to something I never said. They always lie.”
Take a look:
Very uncomfortable to watch. Painful prompter read.
A speech CLEARLY written by someone else. Objectively terrible so they will now pay for people to tell us otherwise.
Also, of everything I’ve said about Erika she chooses to respond to something I never said. They always lie. https://t.co/a9ByyGbFNe— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) April 29, 2026
Now TPUSA Andrew Kolvet is refuting Candace’s claims and in a post on X shared messages that indicate that Candace did claim Erika killed Charlie.
Here is the post:
Funny, you said exactly that to my former employee Aubrey. Yes, Aubrey took a screen grab of your chats and bragged about it to her friends. https://t.co/bebossdK93 pic.twitter.com/3VYultSyP9

The Times of India reported more on the drama:
Candace Owens is once again in the middle of an online storm, and this time it started with a strange clip and a heated back-and-forth on X. A user questioned a segment from Charlie Kirk’s show, calling it “weird,” “uncomfortable,” and “painful to watch.” The post quickly picked up attention as it described a pre-recorded segment featuring a woman in a server outfit, reading lines that didn’t feel natural. Soon after, another user, Andrew Kolvet, added fuel to the situation.
He shared a screenshot of a private chat that he claimed involved Candace Owens. In that chat, one line stood out and spread fast online: “First question: why did you murder your husband?”
That single line triggered strong reactions. People began questioning the tone, intent, and context of the message. Was it serious? Was it a joke? Or was something taken out of context? Candace Owens responded directly, pushing back against the claims and asking for the full conversation to be shown.

Owens has now responded to Kolvet’s screenshots and claimed Kolvet is just doing PR for Erika:
He’s doing that thing again where Erika does something wrong— (lies publicly as she did today and received appropriate backlash), and then his PR response is to blame someone else who had nothing to do with her lie.
It’s UGA with JD Vance all over again.
