As you probably know by now, a shooter derailed the White House Correspondents Dinner this evening.
It was a scary moment, and, in case you missed it, we covered the full story here:

Thankfully, President Trump and other members of his administration were safely evacuated from the event.
Now, it's been announced that the dinner has been called off for the night. It will be rescheduled for sometime in the next 30 days.
Reportedly, President Trump wanted to go back to the dinner tonight, but law enforcement recommended against it.
So, instead of a speech at the dinner, President Trump will address the nation at the White House very soon -- within the next half hour.

Isn't that just like President Trump?
He could have been potentially assassinated (again) tonight, but he wanted to head right back into the event and give his speech anyways!
Most people would have rushed home quickly, but not Trump.
No, law enforcement had to force him to go back to the White House and give a press conference there instead.
He's a truly incredibly man.
