We have an update for you.
On Tuesday, President Trump posted a photo of eight Iranian women who are set to be hanged by the Iranian regime.
Trump in the post warned the Iranian regime to do “no harm” to the women.
Now, President Trump has given a positive update on the women’s status.
In a Truth Social post, the President wrote that women will no longer be executed.
The New York Post reported more on Trump’s announcement:
President Trump announced Wednesday that Iran will no longer execute eight women after he pleaded Tuesday for their freedom — calling it “very good news” in a social media post.
“I have just been informed that the eight women protestors who were going to be executed tonight in Iran will no longer be killed. Four will be released immediately, and four will be sentenced to one month in prison,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“I very much appreciate that Iran, and its leaders, respected my request, as President of the United States, and terminated the planned execution.”
The announcement comes hours after Trump extended his cease-fire with Iran as US negotiators await Tehran’s reply to the latest American offer to the end the nearly two-month conflict.

Despite canceling the execution of the women, Iran has still shown aggression when it comes to their military actions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Fox News provided the latest update:
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said early Wednesday that Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard fired on a container ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the UKMTO, an IRGC gunboat approached the vessel and opened fire, causing “heavy damage” to the ship.
The incident occurred about 15 nautical miles northeast of Oman, the UKMTO said.
The crew was reported safe, the British military said.
