In the age of AI, it’s hard to determine what is real and what is fake.
Thankfully, you have us to break down viral videos.
On Friday, a video on X went viral that appeared to show Steve Bannon having a pee stain on his pants.

The video has been confirmed to be 100% real, and the darkened area of Bannon’s pants can be seen in the official livestream video posted by the Associated Press:
Raw Story reported the “stain” could’ve been just a shadow:
During his appearance at a Semafor conference earlier this week, Bannon’s green pants appeared to be stained. Some speculated that the dark area on his trousers might be urine. It couldn’t immediately be determined what caused the apparent stain or shadow.
Even so, the internet went wild with speculation.
“So Steve Bannon p—–his pants today and we’re all supposed to just *not talk about it* but idk if I can hold it,” comedian Tommy Borum said.
“Did Steve Bannon pee his pants?” one commenter wondered.
“If Steve Bannon cannot hold his urine, can he help hold the House?” another person joked.
“That came from the back. That’s doo doo,” a Threads user remarked.
Several users on X debunked the claim by pointing out the “stain” was no longer visible when he stood up:
He didn't. It was just a shadow. This was him getting up at the end of the speech. I'm no fan of the guy, but, you know, we should strive for the truth. pic.twitter.com/lcNGeqSEAT

Also, it appears it was just the style of his pants:
