Newly-unsealed court documents just revealed the contents of a letter that accused Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson left for his ‘transgender boyfriend’, Lance Twiggs.
In the letter, Robinson admitted to assassinating Charlie Kirk, writing,
“I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it.”
He referred to the assassination as a “mission” and said he wished “we could have lived in a world where this did not feel necessary.”

The Salt Lake Tribune published the full contents of Robinson’s letter:
A newly unsealed search warrant revealed what Tyler Robinson allegedly wrote in a handwritten letter he left for his romantic partner about his plan to shoot Charlie Kirk.
“I left the house this morning on a mission,” Robinson allegedly wrote. “I am likely dead, or facing a lengthy prison sentence. I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it.”
Law enforcement had previously disclosed that Robinson had allegedly sent texts to his roommate — who is transgender and has transitioned to female — asking her to “drop what you are doing” and “look under my keyboard.” That’s where authorities say Robinson left a letter confessing to shooting Kirk and apologizing to his partner, who he refers to as Luna.
What he wrote had not been publicly revealed until a number of search warrants that investigators had filed with the courts were recently unsealed.
“I wish we could have lived in a world where this did not feel necessary. I wish I could have stayed for you and lived our lives together,” the letter reads, according to a search warrant affidavit. “I lack the words to express how much I love you, and how very much you mean to me. Please try and find joy in this life. I love you, always, -Tyler.”
That sounds like a direct confession, if I ever heard one…
There must be justice.
These newly-released documents also revealed that DNA and cellphone data place Tyler Robinson at the scene of the tragic assassination.
Fox News has more on that:
Investigators obtained DNA from “fingerprints and a smeared palm print in the vicinity of the northeast corner rooftop edge of the Losee Center building where Robinson dropped off the rooftop to the ground below,” along with cellphone data showing Robinson’s location on Sept. 10, 2025, according to East Idaho News.
Additionally, a Google Maps route found on Robinson’s phone allegedly routed to an area near the Utah Valley University campus, the outlet reported.
