Today, the astronauts aboard Artemis II accomplished the historic achievement of passing by the far side of the Moon.
This is a big deal because it means that they have now journeyed into space farther than anyone ever before!
And, just moments before temporarily losing communication with Earth right before reaching the back side of the Moon, pilot Victor Glover shared a message from the Gospel of Christ.
He quoted Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:37-38:
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

BREAKING: Incredible moment as Artemis II pilot Victor Glover shares the Gospel mere MOMENTS before reaching the back side of the Moon, losing communication with Earth
“Christ said, in response to what was the greatest command, that it was to love God with all that you are.” 🙏🏻
“And he also, being a great teacher, said the second is equal to it, and that is to love your neighbor as yourself.”
“And so, as we prepare to go out of radio communication, we’re still going to feel your love from Earth, and to all of you down there on earth and around earth, we love you from the moon.”
Jesus Christ commanded us to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth…
Victor Glover took it a step further — spreading Christ’s teachings to the ends of the universe!
His Christ-centered message is going viral online.
Take a look at a few of these responses:

Awesome! A true American hero and still humble enough to know that Jesus is Lord and in charge. Very powerful!

Victor Glover is the same NASA astronaut who shared a very powerful, Biblical Easter message from space on Sunday.
He appears to be a proud and vocal Christian.

The crew is now on their way back home to Earth.
Fox News has the latest update:
Mission control has officially regained communication with the Artemis II crew following the expected 40-minute blackout.
Contact was restored around 7:25 p.m. ET, after the Orion spacecraft passed behind the Moon’s far side and temporarily lost line of sight with Earth.
During this unprecedented period, the crew became the most isolated humans in deep space history — all while witnessing never-before-seen views of the Moon’s far side.
The four astronauts also set a new record for the farthest distance from Earth ever reached by humans, surpassing the Apollo 13 milestone by roughly 4,105 miles.
Pray for a safe return mission!
How does that sound?
