BREAKING: President Trump Reveals His ONE Condition After Iran Asks For Ceasefire

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump revealed that Iran’s current president has initiated contact with the United States to pursue a ceasefire arrangement. However, Trump emphasized that Washington is not prepared to agree to such terms at this stage.

He indicated that any potential agreement would depend on one critical condition: restoring full access through the Strait of Hormuz.

“Iran’s New Regime President, much less Radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has just asked the United States of America for a CEASEFIRE! We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear,” he wrote. “Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages!!! President DJT”

The message was released shortly before President Trump is set to speak to the nation in a televised address at 9 p.m. ET, where the White House has promised an “important update on Iran.”

The current crisis began on February 28, when joint military operations by U.S. and Israeli forces targeted Iran, triggering a conflict that has since shaken financial markets worldwide and caused sharp volatility in energy prices.

A major focal point of the situation is the Strait of Hormuz — a narrow yet vital passage through which a significant portion of the world’s oil supply travels. Iran’s capacity to interfere with shipping through this corridor has continued to strain global trade routes and energy distribution.

Despite the prolonged tensions, Trump and senior officials in his administration maintain that Iran’s military capabilities have been “obliterated” and argue that U.S. goals are being achieved. Still, the unresolved dispute over control and access to the Strait of Hormuz remains the primary obstacle preventing the conflict from coming to an end.
