The rogue judicial system is now going after President Trump’s White House ballroom project.
Today, U.S. District Judge Richard Leon ruled to block any further construction on the ballroom until it’s approved by Congress.
Here are the details:
🚨 BREAKING: A judge has just just BLOCKED President Trump from constructing his White House ballroom until CONGRESS authorizes it.
ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!
This judge is WAY overstepping his authority.
Impeach, appeal and KEEP BUILDING. pic.twitter.com/wDB6aIfGaw

A nonprofit called the National Trust for Historic Preservation originally sued against President Trump over the ballroom.
They argue that he overstepped when he began construction without getting authorization from Congress and asked the judge to block it.
That request was granted today.
President Trump now has two weeks to appeal the ruling before he has to pause construction on the ballroom.
Reuters has more details on the lawsuit and ruling:
A U.S. judge blocked Donald Trump on Tuesday from proceeding with construction of a $400 million ballroom on the site of the White House’s demolished East Wing, halting for now one of the Republican president’s most visible efforts to reshape the seat of American power.U.S. District Judge Richard Leon granted a request for a preliminary injunction by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a nonprofit organization that brought a lawsuit alleging Trump exceeded his authority when he razed the historic East Wing and launched construction without approval from Congress. The decision by Leon, an appointee of Republican former President George W. Bush, keeps the 90,000-square-foot ballroom project on hold while the lawsuit continues.“Where does this leave us? Unfortunately for Defendants, unless and until Congress blesses this project through statutory authorization, construction has to stop!” Leon wrote in his order. The judge said he was pausing his order for 14 days to allow the Trump administration to appeal. Leon said the order does not affect “construction necessary to ensure the safety and security of the White House.”
This is absolutely ridiculous.
Keep in mind the ballroom does not use any tax dollars — it’s 100% privately-funded.
What does the judge expect President Trump to do?
Leave a giant hole in the ground?

BREAKING: Senior U.S. District Judge Richard Leon has just halted President Trump’s entirely self-funded $400 million White House ballroom project.
This 90,000-square-foot grand venue was set to rise on the site of the demolished East Wing, fully paid for by Trump and private donors with zero taxpayer dollars involved, to host major state events and strengthen the People’s House.
Yet Leon’s ruling demands congressional approval first. This is outrageous judicial interference in core executive decisions over the White House itself. Appeal it now and keep the project moving forward.
Rightfully so, President Trump absolutely blasted the group who sued him following the ruling.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation sues me for a Ballroom that is under budget, ahead of schedule, being built at no cost to the Taxpayer, and will be the finest Building of its kind anywhere in the World. I then get sued by them over the renovation of the dilapidated and structurally unsound former Kennedy Center, now, The Trump Kennedy Center (A show of Bipartisan Unity, a Republican and Democrat President!), where all I am doing is fixing, cleaning, running, and “sprucing up” a terribly maintained, for many years, Building, but a Building of potentially great importance. Yet, The National Trust for Historic Preservation, a Radical Left Group of Lunatics whose funding was stopped by Congress in 2005, is not suing the Federal Reserve for a Building which has been decimated and destroyed, inside and out, by an incompetent and possibly corrupt Fed Chairman. The once magnificent Building is BILLIONS over budget, may never be completed, and may never open. All of the beautiful walls inside have been ripped down, never to be built again, but the National “Trust” for Historic Preservation never did anything about it! Or, have they sued on Governor Gavin Newscum’s “RAILROAD TO NOWHERE” in California that is BILLIONS over Budget and, probably, will never open or be used. So, the White House Ballroom, and The Trump Kennedy Center, which are under budget, ahead of schedule, and will be among the most magnificent Buildings of their kind anywhere in the World, gets sued by a group that was cut off by Government years ago, but all of the many DISASTERS in our Country are left alone to die. Doesn’t make much sense, does it? President DONALD J. TRUMP
