Sen. Lindsey Graham Spotted Vacationing at Disney World Amid Longest Govt Shutdown in History

As the DHS shutdown drags on into its 45th day and the war in Iran blazes on, Sen. Lindsey Graham is busy living it up at Disney World!

Over the weekend, he was spotted having a grand old time, walking around Magic Kingdom holding a bubble wand and dining with Disney characters.

This man is 70 years old, single, and childless, by the way.

The partial government shutdown that began when Democrats refused to fund the Department of Homeland Security has now become the longest shutdown in the entire history of our country.

On Friday, Congress broke for its 2-week-long Easter recess without getting a bill passed to re-open the DHS.

So, I guess Lindsey decided it would be the perfect opportunity to take a hard-earned vacation!

Sen. Graham is getting absolutely blasted online, with many folks pointing out how strange it is for an old man with no wife or kids to pick Disney World as his vacationing spot.

Yes, it’s pretty weird.

But, it’s even worse that Senators are allowed to do this in the first place.

While Americans are going without pay thanks to Congress’ failure to get their job done, these politicians are off on vacation treating themselves to dinners with Mickey Mouse!

A lot of people are pointing out how it’s weird for a childless old man to go to Disney World, and of course they’re right. But the greater point here is that the SAVE Act is not passed, the problem at our airports is not fixed, our country is currently at war, meanwhile the Senate just went on vacation. They should all be forced to work every day, all day, until these crises have been handled. It’s outrageous that these assholes are lounging at Disney World and leaving American citizens to deal with the problems they refuse to fix.

After all the backlash, Sen. Graham put out a statement trying to defend his Disney World trip.

The area is like a fantasyland, which is on the nose — Congress is living in one, with each side blaming the other for its failure to reach a compromise that would reopen the government … believing voters are buying what they’re selling.

As for the bubble wand, an eyewitness tells us he was holding it for a little girl while she was in the bathroom.

Graham told TMZ … he was at a meeting Friday with Trump officials in South Florida, and he went to Orlando afterwards to meet up with some friends. He said “I voted 7 times to fully fund the government. Call a Democrat.” As we said Sunday, Democrats AND Republicans are to blame — they couldn’t reach a compromise but still booked it out of D.C. Spring Break.
