Yesterday, a stabbing suspect was shot and killed by Virginia police in a “road rage” incident following a car crash on the I-495 near Washington, D.C.

Now, the man who stabbed four people, taking the life of a woman and dog, has been named as 32-year-old Jared Llamado.
He (allegedly) stabbed four people after being involved in a crash.
When police showed up, he confronted officers with the knife, forcing them to open fire in self-defense.
Here are the details:

NEW: the suspect in the Beltway stabbing has been ID’d as 32 year-old Jared Llamado, who resided in McLean, Virginia. He was later shot and killed by Virginia State Police Troopers on I-495 while still armed with the murder weapon.
The woman who was stabbed and killed has been identified as 39 year-old Michelle Adams. Three other victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
An angle posted online shows a female bystander stepping in to try to stop Llamado from killing Ms. Adams. It is believed that she was stabbed during the brazen attack as well.
Virginia State Police continue to investigate the incident.

In a news release, the Virginia State Police said that 32-year-old Jared Llamado of McLean allegedly stabbed Michelle Adams, 39; Dana Bonnell, 36; Mary C. Flood, 37 and Heather Miller, 40. Adams died as a result of her injuries. A dog was also killed in the stabbing attack. The incident happened on I-495 southbound at 1:20 p.m. in Fairfax County, about 30 minutes from Washington, D.C.
ADVERTISEMENTOfficials said that the stabbing followed a crash and isn't believed to be terrorism-related.
The Virginia State Police said Llamado confronted a trooper that arrived on scene, who then shot the suspect who was armed with a knife. Llamado died at a local hospital as a result of his injuries.

According to his social media, Jared Llamado appears to have been employed at the State Department.
