WATCH: President Trump Greets U.S. Men’s Hockey Team in Oval Office

The U.S. men’s hockey team has officially arrived at the White House!

As we previously reported, President Trump sent a military plane to bring them to D.C. for tonight’s State of the Union address.

Upon the team’s arrival at the White House, President Trump personally greeted them in the Oval Office.

It’s obvious that the team is very happy and grateful to be at the White House today.

One player, Jack Hughes, called it a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Per Fox News:

The players’ excitement appeared to miff critics of Trump. But while talking to reporters outside the E11EVEN nightclub in Miami on Monday night, the New Jersey Devils star said meeting the president is a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

“Everything is so political. We’re athletes. We’re so proud to represent the U.S. and when you get the chance to go to the White House, meet the president, you know, we’re proud to be Americans, that’s so patriotic. No matter what your views are, we’re super excited to go to the White House and just be part of that,” he said.

This is a day they will never forget.

The energy was absolutely electric upon their arrival!
