WATCH: Karoline Leavitt Reminds Press that Obama AWARDED Tom Homan With Medal in 2015

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just put the left’s hypocrisy on full display.

During a press conference today, Leavitt reminded the fake news media that it was Barack Obama who once presented current Border Czar Tom Homan with a medal for his work deporting illegal immigrants.

She held up a paper with proof of how the left’s favorite former president used to honor Tom Homan as a hero.

BREAKING: Karoline Leavitt SHOCKS the Fake News by holding up proof Border Czar Tom Homan used to be heralded as a HERO by Democrats

“I would remind everyone in this room that it was former President Barack Hussein Obama who awarded a MEDAL to Mr. Homan!”

“This is a Washington Post headline from nine years ago, 2016. ‘Meet the man the White House has honored for deporting illegal immigrants!'”

“So he’s obviously very qualified. He has the full trust and faith of the President.”

“He will continue to have these meetings in the hopes that ICE and local law enforcement can cooperate and work together to have successful immigration enforcement, as we’ve seen in almost every other state across the country.”

America loves Tom Homan!

For some additional background, Barack Obama presented Tom Homan with the 2015 Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Service, which is the highest honor for federal civil servants.

Grok explained further:

President Barack Obama awarded Tom Homan the 2015 Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Service (also referred to in some sources as the Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Executive).

This is the highest honor bestowed on career civil servants in the U.S. federal government, recognizing sustained extraordinary accomplishment, leadership, and results in public service. Homan received it while serving as Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a position he was appointed to in 2013 under the Obama administration.

The award highlighted his leadership in immigration enforcement during a period of significant challenges, including managing a large workforce, budget, and operations amid surges in migration and resource constraints. Official announcements from ICE and the Department of Homeland Security at the time described it as the nation’s highest civil service award, presented by the President to a select group of top career executives.

And, here’s a photo of Obama awarding Homan with the medal:

Thomas Homan was honored with a 2015 Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Service by the Obama administration while serving as the Executive Associate Director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), recognized for his leadership in handling significant border surges and expanding detention capacities.

And now the left hates him. Because he works for Trump.

Contrast that to how the left treats Tom Homan and all other immigration authorities today…

Now, the left-wing media and Democrat officials like Tim Walz are painting Homan and ICE all out to be the villains.

What changed?

Here’s another clip of CNN very respectfully reporting on ICE before President Trump took office:

On another note, using the left’s logic now, what does that make Obama?

It wasn’t just Obama either.

The majority of Democrats used to support deporting illegal immigrants from our country.

Watch this:

It would be great if Democrats could all get behind ICE and Tom Homan again…because he’s already on his way to Minnesota to law down the law!
