Yet another Islamic terror plot has just been thwarted by the FBI.
Ahead of New Year’s, 21-year-old John Michael Garza Jr. of Texas is now facing federal charges for allegedly trying to supply and fund ISIS.
He is accused of attempting to send materials for explosive devices and cryptocurrency to someone he believed to be a terrorist.

BREAKING: THE FBI JUST SHUT DOWN ANOTHER ISLAMIC TERROR PLOT FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE IN TEXAS
A 21-year-old Texas man has been federally charged after allegedly sending bomb components and cryptocurrency to people he believed were acting for ISIS.
Authorities say he shared ISIS propaganda and attempted to deliver materials intended for explosive devices.
The DOJ says the plot was stopped before it could turn deadly.
FBI Director Patel:
“The subject allegedly shared ISIS propaganda, sent cryptocurrency believing it would fund terrorist activity, and attempted to deliver materials intended for explosive devices.
This is radical Islamic terrorism, and it was identified and stopped.”

Ultimately, this ISIS sympathizer was caught by an undercover FBI agent after he was flagged for posting terrorist propaganda online.
Fox News has more details:
According to the DOJ, Garza brought bomb-making materials to a Dec. 22 meeting with an undercover agent posing as an “ISIS brother.”
“During the meeting, Garza described how to mix the components and offered to send an instructional video explaining how to build the bomb,” the DOJ said. “Law enforcement agents arrested Garza shortly after he left the meeting.”
The DOJ also said that Garza paid the undercover agent small amounts of cryptocurrency “believing that he was supporting ISIS causes, including buying firearms and other materials.”
Garza was flagged by authorities after a New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer noticed that he followed pro-ISIS accounts, including posting a comment on a pro-ISIS post.
“When the NYPD undercover engaged with Garza on social media, Garza described himself as a 21-year-old Mexican-American living in Texas,” the DOJ said.
“In their continuing conversations throughout November and December, Garza shared that he ascribed to the ISIS ideology and sent the undercover multiple official ISIS media releases.”

Great work from our FBI!
One terrorist sympathizer has been caught, and will likely be going to jail for a very long time.
But, he is far from the first.
Just recently, several terrorist plots for New Year’s Eve have been stopped by the FBI.
This is a terrifying trend — and, it’s not just happening in America.
Terrorism has become so prevalent around that world that many cities have gone as far as cancelling their annual New Year’s Eve celebrations in order to prevent tragedy.
