Meet Lakeshia M. Alston, Running For Senate In North Carolina As A REPUBLICAN — Full Hijab!

It seems as though Democrats will stop at nothing to cheat, rig and steal elections!

Here’s the latest…

Meet Lakeshia M. Alston.

She clearly looks very Republican with her giant face-diaper Hijab, but hey she’s at least wearing a red shirt!

She’s also running as a REPUBLICAN in North Carolina’s Senate District 22.

There is no Republican challenger.

Oh, I should also mention it appears as though she’s a LIFE-LONG Democrat:

That’s one way to make sure you get a Democrat in office!

Hijack the Republican primary, send in a Trojan Horse Democrat, then whoever wins in the General Election you’re guaranteed to have a Democrat!

In this case, what looks to be a Far-Left Democrat!

Shouldn’t this be illegal?

If you lie about your party affiliation, should’t you be immediately disqualified?

Grok confirms, and notes the more traditional spelling of LaKeshia is used in some official documents, because….of course it is:

Yes, the claims in the X post appear to be accurate based on available records. Lakeshia M. Alston (also spelled LaKeshia in some documents) filed as a Republican candidate for North Carolina State Senate District 22 on December 17, 2025, and she is currently the only Republican listed for that seat in the official candidate filings from the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

Her publicly available voter history from Durham County shows she has participated exclusively in Democratic primaries (e.g., March 2024, May and July 2012) and general elections since at least 2008, with no record of Republican primary participation.

This history is consistent with her being registered as a Democrat for most of her voting life, though state law requires candidates to be affiliated with their filing party for at least 90 days prior to candidacy, implying she switched to Republican registration sometime after the 2024 primary but before September 2025.

This situation fits a broader pattern reported in conservative media of Democrats or left-leaning individuals filing in Republican primaries in states like North Carolina, Minnesota, and Texas, potentially to influence unopposed races or split votes.

District 22, covering parts of Durham and Wake counties, leans Democratic but could see shifts depending on turnout and candidate dynamics. No other Republicans have filed as of the latest updates, which amplifies concerns about primary manipulation in what might otherwise be an uncompetitive GOP field.

But hey, maybe she just suddenly had an epiphany and decided to suddenly become Republican?

Anyone buying that?

If so, I have a beautiful Igloo to sell you in Arizona.
