I was surprised to not see Sean Feucht there.

This was from back in January:

Hegseth has been very vocal and very proud about bringing worship and prayer back to the Pentagon:

🇺🇲🙏HEGSETH I APPEAL TO GOD, TO JESUS FOR THAT PROTECTION🇺🇲🙌🙏💯CHRISTIAN PRAYER🙏💯✝️🇺🇲

“I’ve gotten some ‘criticism’ for hosting a Christian prayer service at the Pentagon yesterday. We said it very publicly, we said it very proudly. Appealing to Heaven, to God, is a long-standing tradition in our military.”✝️

“I’m very proud that we’re starting a monthly voluntary service at the Pentagon. George Washington was on bended knee with the troops, praying for God’s providence and protection in that moment.”

“Chaplains and ministers and Christians and people of faith across generations have prayed because of the business that we’re in. The business of the 82nd Airborne.”✝️

“I appeal to GOD – to Jesus Christ for that protection. We’re gonna speak that word and be open and willing to talk about that at the Pentagon. If they want to criticize that, they’re on the WRONG SIDE of a very important issue.”

PRO GOD 🇺🇲🙌🙏💯✝️

GOD BLESS PRESIDENT TRUMP🇺🇲🙌🙏💯✝️

Here are his full remarks from the worship service:

TRANSCRIPT:

The Book of Isaiah. “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son.” 2 chapters later. “For unto us, a child is born, and unto us a son is given.” The first Book of John, or John Chapter 1, excuse me. “And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us.” Born in Bethlehem 2,000 years ago.

Yeah, greatest story ever told. And the best part about it is, it’s a true story. It’s a true story of a king who arrived not on a throne but in a humble manger, became man, but yet lived perfectly.

And all he asked of us is to believe, is to honor him with who we are and what we do, and so we rejoice today in this place at this time 2,000 years ago, grateful for this incredible republic, for a savior.

There is a God and it is not us. And if our good works here would save us, none of us will pass those pearly gates. Only through the redemptive grace and the blood of Jesus Christ.

Yeah. Born 2,000 years ago, lived a perfect life, sinless, died on a cross for all of us. So may the Lord watch over this building, our president, our cabinet.

Thank you for joining us. Our elected leaders in the House and the Senate, our local leaders, our state leaders, those, all magistrates across the country.

Watch over our troops deployed right now all around the world, their families. Guide them and keep them and watch over them. So I want to thank you all for sharing in this first Christmas worship service here at the Pentagon.
