REPORT: Marjorie Taylor Greene Eyeing Run for President

MTG for President?

According to several sources, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene may be eyeing a presidential run in 2028.

Here’s what’s being reported:

🚨🇺🇸 REP MTG: “I WILL RUN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2028.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is already thinking about running for president in 2028.

She’s betting on her huge donor network to help her snag the GOP nomination.

Sounds like a good plan, right?

Well, not everyone’s sold.

Greene has built a loyal following with her Trump devotion and conspiracy theories.

Some MAGA supporters are side-eyeing her after she voted against Trump’s spending bills.

While Greene is a champ at raising money, her own party is clowning her chances, comparing her to AOC.

They’re pointing out the growing rift in the GOP, where some are all in for her, and others… well, they’d rather not talk about it.

Recently, MTG has been breaking away from the GOP more and more on key issues — including Israel and the government shutdown.

The Independent reported:

Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has reportedly told colleagues she is considering a run for president in 2028.

The Republican firebrand is reportedly concerned that other members of her party have strayed from the “real MAGA” and believes she has the base support to launch a run for Commander-in-Chief.

Greene does seem to be attempting somewhat of a rebrand, having ditched her fiery attacks on trans people and other “woke” issues in recent months, instead focusing on issues at odds with her party such as healthcare, U.S. relations with Israel and the ongoing government shutdown.

Several sources, including one who had spoken directly to Greene, told NOTUS that the congresswoman is yet to make a firm decision on the matter, though had mentioned it on several occasions.

When asked to respond to the rumors, MTG neither confirmed or denied whether or not she’s considering running for president.

The Daily Mail shared her statement:

The congresswoman did not deny her ambitions when responding to the Daily Mail’s request for comment.

‘Last week, it was rumored that I was planning to run for Governor of Georgia. This week it’s rumored I am running for President. I’m committed to one thing: serving the best district in the Nation, Georgia’s 14th.’

Greene, 51, a conservative mother of three known for her outlandish attacks on her political opponents, has recently separated herself from the GOP by repeatedly criticizing party leadership.

Vice President JD Vance is widely being floated as the Republican front-runner for the 2028 election.

During an interview last month, MTG was asked to respond to people who believe she is the “heir to the real MAGA,” as opposed to JD Vance.

At that time, she appeared taken aback (really, who is saying that?) and said she loves JD.

However, she admitted that she is “mad about a lot of things” and won’t stop talking about them.

Watch her full response:

What do you think?

Would you support Marjorie Taylor Green for president?

Or are you team JD Vance all the way?
