Well the black British Army horse seen in the video is now officially retired from his Army duties
The horse whose name is Quaker escaped from his handlers back in April of 2024 and suffered several injuries.
CBS News reported more on Quaker’s new journey:
One of the five British army horses that broke from their trainers after being spooked and galloped through the streets of London last year has been retired to the country.
Quaker, a 15-year-old black horse, suffered a broken bone and serious bleeding during the incident on April 24, 2024. The horses were on their daily morning exercise when they were spooked by the noise of construction rubble falling through a chute.
The horses smashed into taxis and a tour bus and were pursued by police for five miles, with pedestrians fleeing their path.
Two of the animals were photographed running through the British capital, bleeding.
Four people were treated by ambulance crews as part of three separate incidents that occurred within 10 minutes.
“Quaker wasn’t able to return to duties,” Maj. Thomas Stewart said in a post on social media. “He had ongoing veterinary care, and it was decided actually that it was best for his welfare that he wasn’t going to come back to us in London.”
The horse has retired to The Horse Trust sanctuary in rural Buckinghamshire, northwest of London, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement Saturday.

The stunt by the horses brought on many theories, per the Daily Mail:
Social media users have claimed the rampaging horses that ran loose through London are an ‘ominous omen’ in a series of viral memes.
Household Cavalry horses Vida and Quaker were two of five that were spooked as they passed through Wilton Crescent in Belgravia at 8.40am yesterday after they heard a loud noise from concrete dropping on the floor from a builder’s travelator.
Five people, including three soldiers riding the horses, were injured in three separate incidents during the six-mile rampage that lasted two hours.
It comes as Big Ben’s hands froze at 9am today for more than an hour before the famous clock sounded the wrong number of bongs in a major malfunction.
Now, people on social media are claiming ‘the end is near’ and both the bloody horse and broken clock represent ‘some sort of omen’ as the latest crazed conspiracy theory hits the nation.
One person joked on social media: ‘Big Ben has stopped and there are blood covered horses running through the streets of London. Maybe someone should check on the ravens in the Tower because this feels a LOT like a season finale.’
ADVERTISEMENTAnother user, a journalist who works for the i, said: ‘I’m not a superstitious person but this is absolutely the sort of omen which ushers in 500 years of darkness suffering and strife.’
A third wrote: ‘In ancient times black and white blood soaked horses running through the capital would be an ominous omen.’
A fourth said: ‘Call me insane or superstitious but I am 100% treating the London horse thing as a bad omen.’
A fifth commented: ‘I’m not saying this is an omen of war but prophetic horses rarely bring good news.’
One person’s conspiracy theory even claimed this is a ‘divine sign’ which has been ‘sent by the gods to warn of impending chaos’.
