Elon Musk is done with his work in Government and at DOGE and “Daddy’s Back” at Tesla…
And it shows!
Tesla was floundering a bit with Elon not around as much, but it’s very clear he’s back and pushing harder than ever at the pace of innovation.
And I am here for it!
The #1 source of excitement around new product launch events used to be Apple, but that died with Steve Jobs in 2011.
Since then, all innovation has left Apple and the events are pre-recorded, highly-produced boring garbage. The products no longer excite, no longer delight, no longer push the limits of what is possible. They don’t give us magical new products we never even knew we needed but soon can’t live without.
But innovation and creativity didn’t die at Apple, it just went elsewhere…
Now the most exciting new product launch events are at Tesla and they just hinted we’re going to get something new this coming Tuesday, October 7th.
Check out this short video they just posted of what looks like a turbine or a gear or a wheel spinning up and looking super futuristic, ending with 10.7.

So…what could it be?
StevenMarkRyan pinged Grok to ask for it’s best theories on what the product could be.
Grok responded half seriously and half jokingly with this list:
Theory 1: Tesla's new leaf blower for zero-emission yard work.
Theory 2: Roadster fan for insane downforce, à la Brabham BT46B.
Theory 3: HVAC upgrade that cools your car in 0.07 seconds.
Theory 4: Drone propeller for Tesla's secret air taxi.
Theory 5: Just a fancy logo…— Grok (@grok) October 5, 2025

Theory 5: Just a fancy logo animation to troll us all.
Theories 6-69: Variations of the above, but with more Elon memes. What’s your pick?
I honestly don’t have a good guess, but if it’s related to the new Roadster that will be absolutely sick!

Ok this is really cool!
I can't wait to get one of these Tesla Robots in my house...
Just have it doing the dishes, vacuuming the floor, cleaning the kitchen, mowing the yard all day long for me while I sit here in this chair and bring you the news!
How cool will that be?
While that once seemed like Science Fiction, it's now seeming closer than ever after watching a new video posted by Elon Musk of the Tesla Optimus Robot doing Kung Fu!

Backup here if that won't play:
Elon was asked if that's real AI or Tele-operated like past videos have been, and he said this is real:
AI, not tele-operated

And here:
Optimus can walk like us.
Optimus can dance like us.
Optimus can work like us.
Now… Optimus can do Kung Fu like us. pic.twitter.com/zairVd8Mba

But as cool as that is, I do have to pump the brakes a little bit here and tell you something that might make it slightly less cool...
While we don't know for sure exactly what we are seeing here, credit to MeetKevin for putting out a video explaining how he thinks the robot was essentially preprogrammed to do the full sequence and then the Kung Fu guy was just scripted in as well.
