This just in: a federal judge has ruled to block President Trump from deploying the National Guard into Portland.
This comes after President Trump ordered Pete Hegseth last weekend to send in the troops in order to bring an end to the ongoing Antifa terrorism and violence in the liberal hellhole.
In response, the state of Oregon immediately sued to prevent it.
And now, Judge Karin Immergut just granted a Temporary Restraining Order to halt the deployment for at least two weeks.

U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut hit the pause button Saturday on the Trump administration’s order to activate the National Guard and send federal troops to Portland.
The State of Oregon and City of Portland’s motion for a temporary restraining order over the deployment of the Oregon National Guard has been granted. The temporary restraining order lasts through Oct. 18 and may be extended.

The Temporary Restraining Order will last for 14 days, but the Trump administration is expected to appeal this decision.
Hopefully, it will be overturned swiftly, as was the case with President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard into Los Angeles earlier this year.
ABC News reported:
U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut issued a temporary restraining order late on Saturday barring the deployment of the troops for at least 14 days, saying Trump’s basis to federalize the Guard fell short of high bar required to justify a deployment without the approval of the state’s governor.
While there have been protests in Portland, the judge said in her decision, they are “not significantly violent or disruptive” to justify the deployment.
“These incidents are inexcusable, but they are nowhere near the type of incidents that cannot be handled by regular law enforcement force,” the judge, who was nominated to the federal bench by Trump, wrote.
The decision covers 200 soldiers who have been training on Oregon’s coast.
The Trump administration is expected to appeal the decision to Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which overturned a similar ruling that sought to block Trump’s deployment of troops in Los Angeles over the summer.

In her decision, Judge Immergut slammed President Trump’s decision to send troops to Portland as a constitutional crisis.
Per Politico:
A federal judge blocked President Donald Trump’s call-up of 200 National Guard troops in Oregon, ruling that Trump’s claims of daily unrest in Portland were “untethered to facts” and risked plunging the nation into an unconstitutional form of military rule.
“This is a nation of Constitutional law, not martial law,” wrote U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee.
Immergut said Trump’s decision to enlist members of Oregon’s National Guard was based on false claims about nightly unrest targeting federal immigration authorities and buildings in Portland. Though Trump described the city as “war-ravaged” and wracked with violence, police said immigration-related protests had been small, manageable and largely peaceful in the days leading up to Trump’s pronouncement.
“These incidents are inexcusable, but they are nowhere near the type of incidents that cannot be handled by regular law enforcement forces,” Immergut wrote.
“President Trump exercised his lawful authority to protect federal assets and personnel in Portland following violent riots and attacks on law enforcement — we expect to be vindicated by a higher court,” said White House spokesman Abigail Jackson in a statement.
