Hundreds Give Their Life To Jesus At Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Service

This was a beautiful moment.

Charlie Kirk’s Pastor Rob McCoy delivered the opening remarks at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service.

During his remarks, he called for members of the crowd who have not given their lives to the Lord to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

It’s estimated that hundreds of people accepted Christ for the first time.

Here’s what Newsweek reported:

Rob McCoy, senior pastor of Godspeak Calvary Chapel and longtime confidant of Charlie Kirk, delivered the opening remarks at Kirk’s memorial service in Arizona on Sunday. “Charlie called me his pastor, but I called him my friend,” McCoy said.

McCoy acknowledged Erika Kirk’s new leadership role at the organization and emphasized its continued mission. He concluded his speech by unveiling a QR code, directing attendees to TPUSA’s website, and announced that representatives would begin visiting churches nationwide to recruit new members.

ABC 7 Chicago reported more on McCoy’s speech:

Pastor Rob McCoy, the Kirk family pastor, was the first speaker for Sunday’s service. He said Kirk “had more lifetimes in 31 years than a lot of us had in the entirety of our own.”

He also said he spoke with several members of the Turning Point USA staff before stepping on stage, some of whom he said were worried they would be unsuccessful without Kirk.

“Without Charlie Kirk’s presence, they pulled off the largest event in Turning Point history. Let’s thank them,” McCoy said, prompting a large round of applause.

According to local officials, Turning Point had more than 200,000 people register for the memorial service on their website.

“Turning Point is alive and well,” McCoy said.
