And, there you have it.
After facing huge backlash over their recent rebrand, the leadership at Cracker Barrel has finally listened to their customer base.
In a huge reversal, Cracker Barrel just confirmed that they are dropping their new, “modern” logo and returning to the iconic, beloved one featuring “old-timer” Uncle Hershel and his barrel.
Cracker Barrel announced on X:
We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our “Old Timer” will remain.

We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our “Old Timer” will remain.
At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family. As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon.
Never let anyone tell you that your voice doesn’t matter.
The people spoke, and in the end, it made a difference!
I truly believe that.
However, one, very powerful voice, appears to have made the final impact…
Just this morning, President Trump himself called for Cracker Barrel to “go back to the old logo” in a post on Truth Social.
Hours later, Cracker Barrel did just that!
For reference, here’s President Trump’s full post:
Cracker Barrel should go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response (the ultimate Poll), and manage the company better than ever before. They got a Billion Dollars worth of free publicity if they play their cards right. Very tricky to do, but a great opportunity. Have a major News Conference today. Make Cracker Barrel a WINNER again. Remember, in just a short period of time I made the United States of America the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World. One year ago, it was “DEAD.” Good luck!
Coincidence?
I think not…
In response to President Trump’s Truth Social post, the White House X account also posted this:

President Trump is absolutely right here.
Cracker Barrel could use this as a great business opportunity to make a major comeback.
And, that appears like it may already be happening.
After dropping the news that they will be scrapping the new, much-hated logo, Cracker Barrel’s stock jumped up.
Per CNBC:
Cracker Barrel’s stock rose in after-hours trading in the heels of the announcement.
The announcement came just hours after President Donald Trump had weighed in on the rebrand, writing that, “Cracker Barrel should go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response (the ultimate Poll) and manage the company better than ever before.”
Cracker Barrel’s move here is a great step in the right direction.
But, it’s only a start.
Now, they need to scrap the “corporate sterile” interior redesign completely, fire the woke CEO, end the DEI programs, and stop funding “pride” shows — especially ones that allow kids!
Cracker Barrel caving and restoring the old logo is a good start but it’s not enough. It would be a shame if their IG, Facebook and TikTok comments were filled with demands to end funding for all ages pride shows and an end to DEI + pronoun training at their corporate office! 👀 https://t.co/mxxSQpwMDn

Now fire your CEO and we’ll all come back. pic.twitter.com/W3AveWvmDM

Good. Now, a checklist for further action:
🔲 Abolish DEI
🔲 Terminate support for gender cultism
🔲 Engage in total dewokificationDeadline: immediately.
