Earlier this year, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a crackdown on international student visas.
His message was loud and clear: anti-American foreign students who commit crimes and support terrorism will be kicked out of the country.
It’s a privilege, not a right, to study in our great nation. Anyone who doesn’t respect that can leave.
Just like that, the long months of pro-terrorist riots on college campuses under the Biden regime were finally over.
In total, 4,000 student visas were yanked under this new directive in spring.
Now, Rubio’s State Department has just revoked another 6,000 student visas.
Check it out:
The Trump administration revoked over 6,000 student visas, including more than 4,000 for crimes and 200–300 for “support for terrorism.”

The majority of the visas were revoked from international students who committed crimes, including assault, burglary, and driving under the influence.

NEW: Secretary Marco Rubio’s State Department has REVOKED more than 6,000 student visas in 2025 for overstays or illegal activities, including assault, DUIs, burglary, and terrorism support, bringing the total to 40,000 visas revoked this year, per Fox News Digital.
A senior State Department official told Fox News Digital: “Every single student visa revoked under the Trump Administration has happened because the individual has either broken the law or expressed support for terrorism while in the United States.”
“About 4,000 visas alone have been revoked because these visitors broke the law while visiting our country, including records of assault and DUIs.”
CBS News has more:
The vast majority of those violations or alleged violations entailed assault, driving under the influence, burglary, and “support for terrorism,” according to a State Department official, although the State Department didn’t say whether those were accusations, arrests, charges or convictions.
Two-thirds of the recently revoked visas were because the students violated the law, the official said. Fox News first reported the student visa revocations.
Those roughly 6,000 students represent a fraction of the 1.1 million foreign students who studied at colleges and universities in the U.S. in the 2023-2024 academic year, the most recently available data.
The State Department official said between 200 and 300 of the visas pulled were over accusations that they engaged in “support for terrorism” under federal statute.
It’s nice to see students from other countries being held to higher standards. No longer are they allowed to come here just to hate on America and commit crimes.
Under the Trump administration, our colleges and universities are becoming safer and more patriotic.
