DEVELOPING: NYC Mass Shooting, ‘MULTIPLE SHOOTERS’ at Large

A mass shooting is being reported early this morning at a NYC restaurant located in a Brooklyn neighborhood.

At this time there appears to be 3 definitive fatalities pronounced at the scene.

Multiple others have been taken to area hospitals.

This comes at a time when NYC has come under scrutiny along with several other large cities from President Trump as a potential next step in cleaning up the crime in American cities.

This clip being shared on social media shows some of the footage from the scene and the heavy police response as investigators converge on the location:

The location of the shooting is being reported as a restaurant in a Jewish neighborhood.

There is no word yet on motive, as the investigation is in the early stages and none of the “multiple shooters” have been apprehended.

The 11 victims being reported on social media, along with the three fatalities, is currently being corroborated by this report from an ABC News affiliate out of NYC:

The shooting happened just before 3:30 a.m. inside the lounge at 903 Franklin Avenue.

Officers arrived within minutes to the first 9-11 calls and found numerous gunshot victims inside of the location.

The victims, 8 men and 3 women, ranged age from 27 to 61.

Three of the male victims were prounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said a dispute inside the crowded club led to the gunfire involving multiple shooters.

Police recovered at least 36 shell casings.

No one is in custody.

A local resident living only a stones throw away caught another vantage point of the location immediately following the shooting.

The massive response by police and ambulances was caught from a balcony within view of the entrance of the restaurant:

There has been no description of suspects released at this time.

The NYC Police Commissioner confirmed just a short time ago that they had no one in custody related to the shooting.

She also confirmed the ages of two of the men among the three deceased as reported by NBC News:

The shooting took place at the “Taste Of The City Lounge” on Franklin Ave in the Crown Heights neighborhood, New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch told a news conference.

There were multiple shooters involved, Tisch said, adding that police were still investigating and that nobody was in custody.

Those killed were a 27-year-old male, a 35-year-old male and a male of an unknown age, Tisch said. The other 8 people who were injured were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, she said.

There is talk starting to circulate on social media that this may have been a targeted killing, but again — no details have been released at this early time on suspects or motive.
