DEVELOPING: Shots Fired In Washington, DC’s Navy Yard As Over 100 “Local Youths” Take Over Park

What is going on in our nation’s capital?

Tonight, gunshots rang out at Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. — near the Capitol.

Over 100 “local youths” took over the park.

Even before the gunshots, these hooligans set off fireworks and rode dirt bikes and scooters through the park.

Border Hawk’s White House correspondent Wid Lyman shared this video from the chaotic scene:

Navy Yard, Washington D.C.

Shots Fired: At approx. 9:26pm shot(s) rang out near the Navy Yard – Ballpark metro stop. A suspect was arrested and a firearm was recovered shortly afterwards.

A group of 100+ youths were gathered in the park launching fireworks, riding dirt bikes, and scootering on electric vehicles.

Multiple federal agencies were spotted included FBI and HSI after the incident.

Federal authorities responded swiftly to the absolute chaos.

Reportedly, multiple people have been arrested.

Potomac Press released this photo, allegedly of the weapon used in the shooting tonight:

Keep in mind that Navy Yard is (or was) a nice, upper-class area in Washington, D.C — not some dangerous ghetto.

Jack Posobiec noted:

This all comes amid growing calls to federalize Washington, D.C.

A few nights ago, President Trump ordered a 7-day crackdown on crime with increased federal law enforcement presence in D.C.

Sen. Mike Lee is calling for a federal takeover:

There has never been a better time than now for President Trump to pull the trigger and seize control of D.C.

And, it may be coming very soon.

President Trump announced on Saturday that he will be holding a press conference regarding the violent crime in D.C. on Monday.

The White House posted:

What do you think?

Should President Trump federalize Washington, D.C.?
