President Trump, joined by Apple CEO Tim Cook, announced the giant investment during a press conference in the Oval Office today.

Watch here:

As part of the investment, Apple will produce 19 billion chips domestically and will only buy rare-earth magnets in the U.S.

As Tim Cook made that announcement, President Trump looked incredibly proud — as he should be!

You have to watch this:

BREAKING: Apple says they will be making 19 billion chips in the United States AND will be only buying rare-earth magnets produced in the USA.

Every new iPhone and Apple Watch WORLDWIDE, will be made with Kentucky-made cover glass.

Trump is just standing there listening to all of these announcements nodding in approval. ‘I did that.’

In order to incentivize more companies to follow in Apple’s footsteps, President Trump has also announced a 100% tariffs on chips and semiconductors.

However, there is a catch.

Companies who commit to building in the U.S. will not have to pay a tariff.

Another genius move by President Trump.

Watch what he had to say about it here:

BREAKING: President Trump just announced he will be putting a 100% tariff on chips & semiconductors being imported

“Companies like Apple are COMING HOME!”

“If you have made a commitment to build or are in the process of building [in USA], as many are, there is no tariff.”

“BUT for some reason you say you are building and you don’t build, we go back and add it up, it accumulates, and we charge you at a later date.”

While at the White House, Tim Cook also presented President Trump with a very special gift: a unique gold iPhone and an engraved glass plaque designed by a U.S. Marine Corps Corporal who now works for Apple.

It’s safe to say he must be a big fan of President Trump!

Apple CEO Tim Cook:

“It’s engraved for President Trump. It’s a unique unit of one.

It was designed by a U.S. Marine Corps Corporal, a former one that works at Apple now.

He’s done well.

Designed it for you.

And the base comes from Utah and is 24 karat gold.”

President Trump continues to prove that he always does what is best for Americans, first.

This is just the latest example of that, but it’s definitely not the last.

Bring on the American Golden Age!
