Who Is In The Wrong Here — Police Officer or Bonehead Motorcyclist?

I saw this going viral today and wanted to get your thoughts on it…

First, I will disclose I am not a motorcycle guy.  I don’t ride them.  Have never ridden them.  Yeah, it looks like a lot of fun, but too high risk for me.

I’ve rode plenty of jet skis and fallen off plenty of jet skis…

Hitting the water at 40 mph hurts like crazy, but at least you don’t have all your skin torn up.

I can only imagine what landing on concrete feels like.

So I write this definitely not as a “motorcycle guy” but I am left wondering who is really in the wrong here?

Sure these people look like idiots doing their tricks on the public street which is very dangerous.

And yes, I find motorcycles to generally be a nuisance on the road even under good circumstances.

And yes, I fully support the police.

But….was this necessary?

Does this seem a bit over the top?

Does this seem like a cop on a power trip?
