WATCH: Ursula von der Leyen Tries To Spin DEFEAT After Trump STEAMROLLS EU In Historic New Trade Deal

This one short video is everything you need to know about tariffs and the powerful cards President Trump is holding.

From the very beginning, President Trump told us and told the world we hold all the cards.

The world knew it, but everyone tried to pretend it wasn’t true.

There were stupid “TACO” memes where Far Left idiots thought they were super funny and “edgy”.

Trump Always Chickens Out — derp, derp!  Aren’t we so funny?

Why is it that the Far Left losers are always rooting AGAIST America?

I never understood that.

But all along we kept telling you there’s a method to President Trump’s madness and quite frankly it’s not at all hard to understand.

He gave everyone many, many chances.  It was never “chickening out” it was kindness.

When you’re Shaquille O’Neal playing against a Junior High boy, do just steamroll him in the first minute and face-plant him into the ground over and over and over?  Or do you try to have a little compassion and give him a chance?

Most people try to give a chance.

And that’s what President Trump did here.

But kindness eventually runs out, and when he set his August 1st deadline, everyone knew he was done extending grace.

And so one by one the big players have come to the table to grovel and beg for the best deal they could possibly get.

Basically: “I’ll take whatever I can get!”

A few days ago it was a record deal with Japan.

And today it was an even bigger historic deal with the EU.

But what I really want you to see is this short video from EU President Ursula von der Leyen.

Watch as she tries to explain the historic defeat to her citizens and why they should be happy to get only 15% tariffs and not 30%.

If you have the ability at all to read between the lines, you can see this is what every single world leader is thinking right now.

They know they can’t defeat the US, they basically have to concede to whatever President Trump demands and they should be really happy he is only demanding 15%.

In case you missed it, here was the big announcement a few hours ago:

President Trump Announces MASSIVE Trade Deal With The EU — Biggest of All Time?

President Trump and EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen just announced what may be the biggest trade deal of all time between the USA and the EU.

Are you ready to see crypto and the stock market rally like you've never seen on Monday?

Get ready.

Buckle up!

Here's a quick summary of all the main points we know so far:

  • President Trump and EU President Ursula von der Leyen finalized a new U.S.–EU trade deal at Trump’s Turnberry resort in Scotland on July 27, 2025.

  • The deal sets a 15% tariff on most EU imports, down from the 30% Trump had threatened, while steel and aluminum remain at 50%.

  • In return, the EU will buy $750 billion in U.S. energy, invest $600 billion in U.S. markets, and purchase American military equipment.

  • The agreement averts a major trade war, avoiding EU retaliation on over $100 billion in U.S. goods.

  • Both leaders called the deal a stabilizing and fair outcome, giving businesses predictability and boosting U.S. trade leverage.

  • Analysts view this as Trump’s most significant trade achievement, surpassing prior deals with the UK and Japan.

FULL TRANSCRIPT:

Those things are, uh, 750 billion, 600 billion, opening up the country.

Uh, we are agreeing that the tariff straight across for automobiles and everything else will be a straight across tariff of 15%.

So we have a tariff of 15%, we have the opening up of all of the European countries, which I think I could say were essentially closed.

I mean, they—You weren't exactly taking our autos, you weren't exactly taking our agriculture, and then you would have smaller things, but for the most part it was closed.

And now it's open. It's open for our companies to go in and do a good job with, and I think you'll like them. I think you'll like it.

And, uh, we will, uh, very importantly, they'll be investing a lot of money. But the military is a big number, but that's one number we're not determining. It's gonna be whatever it is, but they're gonna be purchasing, uh, hundreds of billions of dollars worth of military equipment.

Uh, they're—Uh, very importantly, they're gonna purchase 750, uh, 750 billion dollars worth of energy, so that's gonna be great. And $600 billion worth of investments into the United States over and above what they have.

So, and I think that basically concludes the deal. I mean, those are the main factors. I don't think there are too many other factors, other than we're gonna get along great. And we have a great relationship now with NATO, which is largely the same.

You know, I mean, not exactly, but pretty, pretty close, right? Largely.

Right, largely. And with NATO, as you know, they're going up to 5% from 3 from 2%, and the relationship is very strong with NATO.

Uh, so I just want to congratulate you. I think it's, uh, I think it's great that we made a deal today instead of playing games and maybe not making a deal at all.

I think it's, uh—I'm gonna let you say, uh, but I think it's the biggest deal ever made.

Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Congratulations. Thank.

Fox News had more details here:

The announcement came moments after the two had addressed the media, agreeing that the likelihood of an agreement was about 50-50. Von der Leyen said the negotiations had taken some "heavy lifting," but the two leaders agreed they were happy with the result.

"We are agreeing that the tariff straight across for automobiles and everything else will be a straight-across tariff of 15%," Trump said.

"So we have a tariff of 15%. We have the opening up of all of the European countries, which I think I could say were essentially closed. I mean, you weren't exactly taking our orders. You weren't exactly taking our agriculture," he added, addressing von der Leyen.

Von der Leyen said Europe will also purchase $150 billion worth of U.S. energy as part of the deal, in addition to making $600 billion in other investments into the U.S.

Trump and von der Leyen had sounded unsure of whether a deal would be reached even as they spoke to the press in Scotland on Sunday.

Trump boasts US is the ‘hottest country in the world’ during meeting with European Commission presidentVideo
"We look forward to talking to see if we can do something," Trump had said of the negotiations. "We've had, a very good relationship over the years, but it's been a very one-sided transaction, very unfair to the United States."

The announcement came immediately after this moment where President Trump said if a deal were to be made it would be the biggest of all time:

WATCH: President Trump Cracks Up The Entire Room With Off The Cuff Reply To EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen

President Trump never misses a moment to crack a joke, and often the jokes are very intentionally laced with hard truth.

That happened again today as President Trump was meeting and chatting with EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen.  What a ridiculous name!

Anyway, the two were chatting about tariffs and here's how it went:

“You’re known as a tough negotiator and dealmaker,” Von Der Leyen begins to say before Trump interjects.

“And fair,” Trump says, which causes the room to chuckle.

“And fair,” she responds.

“That’s less important,” Trump quips.

The room then cracks up again in response.

You are known as a tough negotiator and deal maker. But fair.

What is in front and fair. Yeah. And what is in front of us— that's most important.

If we are successful, I think it would be the biggest deal each of us has ever struck. Sure.

So, I'm very much looking forward to it. Ever struck by anybody, that's true. Yeah. Yeah. That's true.

Right now we have that, uh, that honor goes to Japan. We just struck a deal with Japan, as you know.

And, uh, we're very close to a deal with China. We really sort of made a deal with China, but we'll see how that goes.

And we have numerous other deals and mostly I'm just gonna charge tariffs and, you know, there's not a deal per se, but people are gonna pay tariffs.

And we're doing them at the low end, not the high end, because we don't want to hurt anybody.

And, uh, pretty well, but, uh, you and I both figured this is, this is really the biggest trading— Mm-hmm— partnership in the world, so we should give it a shot, right?

Yeah. Very much looking forward to that.

Oh, thank you very much. Thank you. I do too.
