A Florida man was arrested on DUI charges after being pulled over on a busy toll road while riding a lawnmower.
The man was pulled over after police received several calls about a man riding a lawnmower on Suncoast Parkway.

Yahoo News shared more details on the bizarre DUI arrest:
A man faces charges after troopers say he took his riding mower onto a busy toll road while impaired.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, dispatchers received calls from multiple witnesses around 8:30 a.m. Friday reporting a man operating a lawn mower erratically on the southbound side of the Suncoast Parkway (SR 589).
Troopers say traffic cameras showed the lawn mower going south from Citrus County into Hernando County, and the rider was pulled over just south of the exit to U.S. 98.
FHP says Christopher Spain, 38, showed several signs of impairment, including small pupils, flushed skin, dry mouth, and visible irritation to the inside of his nose.
Spain also had a small blue straw in his back pocket, according to troopers, and repeatedly cleared his throat, sniffed, and spit during the traffic stop.
Florida man Christopher Spain was arrested for driving under the influence after operating a lawnmower on the highway.
He drove the lawnmower along the highway from Citrus County into Hernando County before being stopped and taken into custody.

Gulf Coast News had these details to report on Spain failing a sobriety test:
Troopers attempted to test Spain three times with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test, which is when law enforcement observes if a suspect’s eyes involuntarily jerk when looking side to side. But after those attempts, Spain is accused of becoming uncooperative and, according to FHP, he refused any further field sobriety tests.
FHP said Spain was arrested and taken to the Hernando County Jail, and he refused to provide a urine sample there. Spain faces charges of DUI.
