A little over an hour ago, an earthquake struck Iran near the capital city of Tehran.

The magnitude was reported somewhere between 5.1-5.5 and hit Semnan, which is home to a major missile complex operated by the Iranian military.

The Israel Times reported:

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake shook northern Iran, the US Geological Survey says, as Israel pounded the country with repeated waves of airstrikes.

The quake, which Iran’s Tasnim news agency says measured 5.2, struck at a depth of 10 kilometers (six miles) some 37 kilometers (23 miles) southwest of the city of Semnan, the USGS says.

Daily Mail added:

State television said the earthquake measured 5.5 and ‘shook the area around the city of Sorkheh in Semnan province’.

It said the tremor was also felt in the capital Tehran, about 150 kilometres (90 miles) from Sorkheh.

Official news agency IRNA reported no casualties and only ‘minimal damage’.

It comes after Israel was rocked by a huge Iranian missile strike this afternoon, injuring at least 17 people as both sides continued to trade blows for an eighth consecutive day.

Buildings in the Israeli port city of Haifa showed signs of heavy damage with windows blown out from Iranian ballistic missiles. Huge plumes of smoke were seen rising from the city as strikes were also reported in Tel Aviv and Negev.

The Israeli military said soon after it was carrying out attacks in southwestern Iran, targeting missile launchers. Iranian media reported soon after that air defence systems had been activated in Bushehr, in southern Iran.

Notably, this earthquake marks the third significant one to hit Iran in the last several days…

Now, Iran does have a lot of fault lines, and earthquakes are not highly unusual there.

However, we have to ask: is this just a coincidence?

Was it a natural earthquake or something manmade?…

Or was it something else?

A message from God perhaps?
