Singer Miley Cyrus Taken To The ICU After Filming Video On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Singer Miley Cyrus has revealed she was taken to the ICU last year after filming a video shoot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

While speaking about her new music video, “Something Beautiful” she stated, “I filmed this video in October [2024] by November at Thanksgiving, I was put in the ICU for a moment — just for a moment.”

Cyrus then described how she was rolling around on the Walk of Fame when she caught an infection.

She stated, “I caught something. My leg began to disintegrate… around the kneecap area. And then the doctor goes, ‘Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?

In recent years, the Walk of Fame has become infamous for its dirtiness due to the local homeless population inhabiting it.

Check out what Fox News reported:

Miley Cyrus recently detailed how a glamorous music video shoot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame led her to the hospital.

Cyrus, 32, recalled the moment she filmed her “Something Beautiful” visual album and then landed in the ICU.

“I filmed this video in October [2024] by November at Thanksgiving, I was put in the ICU for a moment — just for a moment,” Cyrus said Thursday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The “Wrecking Ball” singer shared she had been rolling around on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her music video.

“I caught something,” she remarked. “My leg began to disintegrate… around the kneecap area. And then the doctor goes, ‘Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?”

Cyrus pointed out the fact that her doctor had probably seen the worst in a hospital. However, she said the surgeon was completely grossed out by her infection.

Per People:

Miley Cyrus wound up with a serious injury after filming Something Beautiful, and it left an ICU doctor in disgust.

The 32-year-old Grammy-winning hitmaker stars in the film, which will accompany her May 30 album of the same name. The project was driven by the songs on the album’s tracklist. When it was time to film a component for “Walk of Fame,” Cyrus wanted to actually film on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During a Thursday, May 22 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she revealed that there was one issue with that plan: Her team didn’t have the budget to reserve the space.

She came up with an alternative method to get the shot and decided to film it at night when no one else would be out. However, doing so resulted in her sustaining a “brutal” infection that made her knee “disintegrate.”

“I caught something,” she confirmed to Jimmy Kimmel, who noted that she was “lucky [she] didn’t get a hypodermic needle in [her] body.”

Cyrus continued, saying, “Because I filmed this video in October, and by November on Thanksgiving, I was put in ICU.”

The “Flowers” star stressed that her tenure in the intensive care unit [which treats seriously injured patients] was “just for a moment” since the less-serious emergency room was full of Thanksgiving-related visitors.

“My leg began to disintegrate … around the kneecap area. And then the doctor goes, ‘Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?’ ” she recalled.
