Although celebrities often pay a price with their far-left fans after confirming their support of President Donald Trump, a growing number of stars continue to speak out.
Most recently, pro wrestler Joe Anoa’i, better known as Roman Reigns, offered a resounding endorsement of the president’s qualifications and performance.
As the Daily Caller reported:
The 39-year-old former WWE champion addressed Trump’s vast experience in a number of different arenas.
ADVERTISEMENT“He’s been in entertainment. He’s been in big business, politics,” he said.
“At this point, I’m supporting a bright future for our country. Positive and competent leadership. For us to be what we’re supposed to be—to be a world leader and carry that respect and do what a world power like us should be doing.,” Reigns told Vanity Fair.
Right on cue, he became the latest target of anti-Trump activists and online trolls:

Plenty of other fans either applauded his statement or argued that politics shouldn’t be a consideration when it comes to supporting a particular wrestler:

Fox News also reported on the wrestler’s recent remarks:
Reigns did criticize Trump for picking battles with political rivals, saying that Trump “needs that adversary.”
“He needs that opposition to bounce off of. He needs that competitive motivation or something,” he added.
ADVERTISEMENTThis Saturday will mark the ninth time, a record, that Reigns will headline the WWE staple. He actually headlined both nights of the event last year in Philadelphia, losing his championship after holding the belt for over 1,000 consecutive days.
