HUGE WIN: Voter ID Amendment PASSES In Wisconsin

In a major win for election integrity, voters in Wisconsin have just passed an amendment to the state’s constitution that requires voters to present photo identification.

While this was already a requirement in Wisconsin, the amendment goes further to enshrine voter ID law as a constitutional requirement, thus protecting it from Democrats who seek to overturn the law.

It wasn’t a close vote.

No, the overwhelmingly majority of Wisconsin voters wanted this, with the amendment passing by a 20% margin.

From Fox News:

Wisconsin will enshrine the state’s voter ID law in the state constitution after voters approved the proposal on Tuesday.

The Associated Press called the vote at 9:48 p.m. EST.

Wisconsin already requires that voters have photo ID in order to participate at the polls, but the measure now elevates that law to a constitutional amendment.

President Trump responded to the victory on Truth Social:

Elon Musk, who campaigned for the voter ID amendment, also replied to the news on X:

The results in Wisconsin tonight send a clear message: Americans overwhelmingly want secure elections.

The only people who oppose common-sense laws like voter ID want to cheat, plain and simple.

Let this set a precedent for other states to follow suit and add similar amendments to their constitutions.
