‘The View’ Co-Host Claims Democrats’ Only Problem Is That They Don’t Break Enough Rules

While the long-running daytime TV show started out as a seemingly innocuous women-led talk show, ABC’s “The View” has since morphed into an echo chamber for some of the far-left’s most divisive and objectionable opinions.

Co-hosts like Sunny Hostin have regularly pushed the Democratic Party to embrace an even more extreme agenda in the era of President Donald Trump.

As Breitbart reported about a segment from one recent episode:

She continued, “In terms of Tesla’s stock, I think the bottom line is, the only thing that these oligarchs and these billionaires care about is their money. That’s what they care about. And it’s unfortunate that there will be Americans that will be harmed because of this Tesla stock going down but it’s also very unfortunate that many Americans will be harmed because of Elon Musk’s policies and because of what he is doing.”

Hostin added, “The Republicans have thrown out the rulebook. Democrats need to stop playing by those rules. Those rules don’t exist anymore. We’re at an existential crisis right now.  We need to meet energy with energy. That’s why Chuck Schumer, who was here, I think, made a mistake by caving, by caving to the Republican Party. Lets fight them the way they fight.”

She chastised Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) recently, similarly telling him that the Democratic Party needs to throw out the political rulebook.

As Fox News reported:

“It gives me no pleasure to say this to you, because we are friends, but I think you caved,” Hostin told Schumer. “I think you and nine other Democrats caved.”

“I don’t think you showed the fight that this party needs right now. Because you’re playing by a rulebook, where the other party has thrown that rulebook away,” she added.

Hostin accused Schumer of paving the way for Trump and Musk to “gut” Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

“Why did you lead Democratic senators to play by that book that the Republicans are not playing by?” she continued.
