‘My Final Victim’: Ex-Pro Wrestler Challenges Tim Walz To A Match After Recent Tough-Guy Talk

When he was busy adding even more cringe-inducing awkwardness to the doomed Kamala Harris presidential campaign, failed vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz did little to cultivate an image as a tough guy.

That’s why his recent taunt to Republicans that he could “kick most of their ass” was met with widespread mockery this week.

And for former professional wrestler Glenn Jacobs, better known by fans as Kane, Walz’s claim was enough for him to consider entering the ring one more time — all for a good cause, that is.

As the Daily Wire reported:

“How do you fight it?” Walz asked Newsom, adding, “I think I could kick most of their a**! I do think that … I know I can outrun them. I don’t know if we’re going to fall into that place where we, okay, we challenge you to, you know, a WWE fight here, type of thing.”

The Daily Wire’s Brent Scher approached Kane and asked for his response was to Walz’s bluster.

Jacobs later proposed an opportunity for Walz to make good on his threat — and even volunteered to get in the ring with him, for charity.

Jacobs received some high-profile support in his bid to call Walz’s bluff:

The development came on the heels of the Minnesota governor’s almost universally mocked comments on California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s podcast:

Jacobs also posted a video under his “Kane” X account:

Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner also chimed in with a taunt aimed at Walz, per the New York Post:

“I am more ‘masculine’ than this [clown emoji] Gov Walz,” Jenner, 75, ribbed on X Wednesday in response to the governor’s bombast.

Jenner, an Olympic gold-winning decathlete who came out as a transwoman in 2015, shared a clip from the Republican National Committee’s opposition research X account showcasing the governor’s braggadocio.

Walz (D), 60, had crowed on the “This is Gavin Newsom” podcast about his masculinity and mused that conservatives are particularly intimidated by his manliness.

And here’s what Fox News funnyman Greg Gutfeld had to say about the whole situation:
