Something crazy is happening…

Hours after President Trump released the JFK files, the CIA headquarters is on lockdown.

Police and SWAT teams are swarming the area in response to a man armed with a gun.

Reportedly, the man took out a handgun at the gate of CIA headquarters and pointed it at the building.

He is currently on a standoff with police as he continues to make threats.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

CIA headquarters ‘on lockdown’ as man armed with shotgun ‘opens fire’: “A SWAT team was called to CIA headquarters in Fairfax County, Virginia, after a man allegedly began shooting a shotgun into the air. The facility is now on lockdown, according to reports. Crime scene negotiators are reportedly on the scene in McLean as of about 10:35am EDT (2:30pm GMT) alongside Fairfax County Police Bomb Squad with the Fairfax County Police, according to DMV News Live. CIA Police is also on the scene. The incident is unfolding at Georgetown Pike and Dolly Madison Boulevard and the threat has prompted a huge emergency presence. The armed suspect was reportedly observed sitting on a bench near the facility’s gate along Route 123 while in possession of a firearm, local news outlets reported.”

The armed man is reportedly growing more and more agitated, apparently launching into rants about President Trump and Osama Bin Laden.

Heavily armed police swarmed CIA headquarters in Virginia on Wednesday after a man with a gun reportedly started making threats outside.

The suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at the building in McLean on Wednesday morning, ABC7 reported, citing a law enforcement official.

Newsweek has more:

An armed man was seen making threats at the gate of the CIA headquarters in Virginia, leading to a large police presence that includes the Fairfax County Bomb Squad, ABC News reported.

Officials told 7News a man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at CIA headquarters. But no shots have been fired and no injuries were reported.

Newsweek has contacted Fairfax County Police Department and the CIA for comment.

The Fairfax Police Department said in a post on X that it was dealing with a “barricade incident” at the CIA HQ: “Our Special Operations Division is on scene assisting.”

A live stream from 7News shows the authorities at the scene, including armored vehicles.

Footage from the air shot by Fox 5 showed a man, believed to be the suspect, sitting alone on a bench.
