JFK FILES: New Light Shed on Possible CIA Connection to Assassination

One of the more interesting revelations from the just-dropped JFK files sheds some light on the death of an ex-CIA agent in the months following the assassination.

Former CIA agent Gary Underhill died mysteriously around after President Kennedy was assassinated.

His death was ruled a suicide, but the circumstances around his untimely death are questionable, to say that least.

According to the newly-released files, Underhill had implicated the CIA in the assassination of JFK.

The documents state that Underhill fled Washington, D.C. right after JFK was killed. He went to stay in New Jersey, where he confided in friends that a “small clique” from the CIA was behind the assassination.

Six months after telling friends that the CIA was involved in assassinating the president, Gary Underhill was found dead, from a gunshot wound behind his ear.
