BREAKING: The Associated Press Sues Trump Administration

Get it? The headline image is the White House barred off?

That’s the Associated Press’s POV.

And since they’ve been barred from going in, they’ve just filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration.

What caused this?

It started with AP refusing to adopt President Trump’s executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America.”

What is it about liberals being defiant against Trump’s EOs?

The news agency argues this move violates First Amendment rights and undermines press freedom.

Suddenly the liberal media cares about “Freedom of speech!” eh?

Cute but they’re not losing their freedom of speech. Their privilege is being revoked.

AP News reports:

The Associated Press sued three Trump administration officials Friday over access to presidential events, citing freedom of speech in asking a federal judge to stop the blocking of its journalists.

The lawsuit was filed Friday afternoon in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., 10 days after the White House began restricting access to the news agency.

The AP says its case is about an unconstitutional effort by the White House to control speech — in this case not changing its style from the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America,” as President Donald Trump did last month with an executive order.

The media isn’t used to a leader that stands up to them like President Trump.

And the people love it.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt points out that it’s a privilege.

And like I keep quoting, when these people are used to special privilege, and you take it away, they’re freak out. (paraphrase version)
