BREAKING: Explosion Reported At Trump Tower, Vegas Strip Shut Down

Traffic was reportedly halted along the busy Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday following reports of an explosion near Trump Tower.

Details were still coming in as of the latest updates available, but one witness recalled hearing and feeling several eruptions before noticing smoke nearby.

According to KLAS:

A witness, who asked to remain anonymous and was staying in Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip, said he heard several loud booms.

“It was shaking the glass it was so loud,” he said. “I looked out and see smoke and me and my wife booked it out of there,” he said.

Guests who were in the process of checking out of the hotel were seen with their luggage walking along the sidewalk.

The disruptive scene came just hours after a vehicle plowed into a New Orleans crowd, killing at least 10 and injuring many others.

Social media users were quick to react to the latest news, including reports that the source of the explosion was a Tesla Cybertruck:

Las Vegas police shared that they are investigating a car fire at the entrance to Trump Tower, though the fire has been put out.

Smoke could be seen coming from the tower in viewer video obtained by FOX5. Multiple police vehicles and ambulances were also seen in the area.
