“WE GOTTA LOCK JOE UP!” (Spoiler Alert: Trump Didn’t Say It, But Someone Did…)

On the heels of profoundly dangerous moves by both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden today, there is the usual rush of activity generally associated with backtracking and covering over the missteps and oversteps of political idiots — er, I mean “elites”?  (I said what I said.  I’ll probably say it again.)

If you haven’t heard Biden’s comments calling for President Trump to be LOCKED UP, here’s the short clip:

In the case of Biden’s “lock him up” comments, in what can only be categorized as the President of the United States pushing for the jailing of his chief political opposition, the mitigating activity has taken primarily two paths; both focused on damage control.

On one hand, there are those media outlets and political mouthpieces who have tried to assuage his comments into something different than he obviously meant them.

And maybe even more astounding to me, there are those (allegedly a CURRENT Biden White House Official!) who want us all to give the President of the United States a free pass, basically claiming since he’s not being taken seriously anyway, “his words have little power and less reach.”  Good Lord.

I want to remind you this is not the first time I’ve reported lately on the plan to lock up President Trump as a means of preventing him from kicking Biden (or, whoever…) out of the White House.

Just one week ago I brought you the story above which included this video of Biden talking about locking President Trump up — insinuating that even the overturned judgments might not stay overturned.  (That’s a heck of an issue for a sitting President to weigh in on!)

And did you catch the part from today’s press conference when Biden mentioned that President Trump actually wants to “shoot and kill” Americans who don’t support him?  That was an echo of Kamala Harris’ assertions today from her “emergency press conference” where she took a debunked hoax (I’ll show you more of that tomorrow) and tried to make it sound as if President Trump was intent on using the U.S. military against Americans.

Here’s the problem.  That’s not President Trump who took steps in that direction; he actually CHANGED the Department of Defense Directive from the Bush days, which Obama had upgraded TO INCLUDE assassinating Americans on U.S. soil — which as we reported just three weeks ago, the BIDEN-HARRIS ADMINISTRATION just re-upgraded to include the lethal use of the military against Americans on American soil at the President’s discretion… based on the subjective POSSIBILITY of violence!  (No courts involved at all!)

And they want to say that President Trump is planning to harm Americans?  He hasn’t said that (though they run with the debunked misinformation ANYWAY), and he has taken no steps towards that, quite the contrary (though THEY have actually laid the legal groundwork for them to be able to do exactly that!).

And yet, Joe Biden as the (alleged!) President of the United States is allowed to call for the jailing of his top political rival, two weeks from Election Day no less, and he is simply given a free pass?

However, not everyone is dishing out that “free pass” in quite the same way.  According to reporting from The Western Journal, in a text sent shortly after Biden’s comments to journalist Alex Thompson with Axios, a former Biden White House official actually turned the President’s words against him, somewhat.

A recent gaffe from President Joe Biden has become a window into a world in which some Democrats are irreverent toward the commander-in-chief while others view him as irrelevant.

Alex Thompson, a journalist with Axios, noted two different takes on the Democratic reaction to Biden’s comments.

“Noting this could be politically unhelpful to Harris, a former Biden admin official texts me: ‘we gotta lock Joe up,’” Thompson posted on X.

“We gotta lock Joe up.”  -Former Biden WH Official

In essence, the former Biden official echoed a large portion within democratic circles in Washington; just keep him away from the cameras!  (That seems to be what ultimately happened, at least for the rest of the day.  We’ll have to see about tomorrow.)

But as I mentioned earlier, there was a divergent path taken by some on this “free pass”, though equally disparaging towards Biden.  As The Western Journal related in the same story, many — even within Biden’s White House — simply want everyone to allow Biden to be Biden, and dismiss his words completely; presumably because he is not to be taken seriously.  (This is the sitting President of the United States, I remind you!)

“A counterpoint from a current Biden admin official: ‘For better or worse, no one is listening to him anymore and his words have little power and less reach. It’s a blip. Gone in any meaningful way by mid-day tomorrow if it makes it that long,’” Thompson also posted.

In an Op-Ed in the Washington Examiner, Zachary Faria said the comment reported by Thompson that disparaged Biden is a telling summary of the Biden era.

“That is a comment made about the current U.S. president, made by a member of his own administration. ‘No one is listening to him anymore, and his words have little power and less reach.’ It was clear since he dropped out of the race that Biden was going to be an absentee president, but to have people who work for him admit that now ‘no one is listening to him’ is a damning indictment of Biden when he is still the one ostensibly in charge of the executive branch for another three months,” Faria wrote.

“Biden was pushed out of the race by his own party because no one thought he could win re-election. He was undermined in favor of his incompetent vice president, who might just lose anyway, and now members of his own administration admit no one cares what Biden says anymore,” he continued.

“In his four years in office, Biden has been a failure and a loser, and he will now finish out his term as an irrelevant afterthought.”

Just as amazing was the backtracking that the White House and the mainstream news media simultaneously initiated, trying to mitigate blowback to some degree — while trying to allow the ring of what Biden had said to remain in the air.

“…lock him up…”

Sort of like instructing a jury to unhear what they just heard.  Good luck with that.

I’ll probably be talking about this more tomorrow, but check out what Jesse Watters pointed out regarding the debunked hoax that the Atlantic ran with, and the NYT’s interview with John Kelly pushed — the most recent fodder forming the basis of both Kamala Harris’ and Biden’s outlandish attacks on President Trump today.

Far be it from President Trump to let something so egregiously unjust and wrong as these allegations go unchecked.  Speaking at a Turning Point event in Georgia a few hours after Biden made his comments, President Trump responded.

“He’s not legally allowed to say that…” – President Trump

That is likely the only reason there is any attempt to backtrack from Biden’s initial comments — not that he didn’t mean them, not that they don’t want to project that concept into the race, and not because they aren’t planning EXACTLY THAT.

But the fact is… there are laws that could be brought into play (not just election laws) which would very likely apply to a sitting President calling for the jailing of his political opponent; particularly days before the election.

President Trump’s campaign spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, also responded in a statement according to the New York Post:

“Joe Biden just admitted the truth: he and Kamala’s plan all along has been to politically persecute their opponent President Trump because they can’t beat him fair and square,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

“The Harris-Biden Admin is the real threat to democracy. We call on Kamala Harris to condemn Joe Biden’s disgraceful remark.”

A person close to Biden, who often misspeaks in public, told The Post that the president’s follow-up comment meant he hadn’t intended to call for Trump to be incarcerated.

However, the president and his aides typically refrain from commenting at all on the four pending criminal cases against Trump, who contends that a quartet of local and federal indictments last year were politically motivated to aid Biden’s then-re-election campaign.

Biden has tauntingly referenced Trump’s legal woes before, however, saying last week that “I think he’s running to stay out of jail” during an appearance in Pennsylvania.

And then, suddenly, Biden didn’t want to talk to the cameras any more.  I wonder if it was Jill, Obama, Kamala, or Soros who instructed him to keep his mouth shut for the rest of the day?

Of course, it could just be that Biden was extra sleepy after a long day of campaigning for the person who was instrumental in the coup that ousted him as the democratically chosen nominee for President — but I honestly figure it was a directive to stand down.

I would like to leave you tonight with a short clip of something that does, and does not pertain to this story.  (It so very much pertains to it.)  For those who don’t recognize him (I am judging you, though!), this is Jocko Willink; a living legend, and someone I would consider an expert in all things DIFFICULT.  Strangely enough, this was uploaded today.

Keep the faith, my brothers and sisters.  There is a lot of wickedness rising just now, emboldened by years of progress.  That wickedness must not be allowed to prevail.  We must stand against it together.  WE MUST PREVAIL.  It will not relent, willingly.  And neither can we.
