Less than 24 hours after President Trump visited McDonald’s, the fast food giant revealed that there were no available records of Kamala Harris working at the fast food restaurant.
In a press release, McDonald’s shared, “While we and our franchisees don’t have records for all positions dating back to the early ’80s, what makes ‘1 in 8’ so powerful is the shared experience so many Americans have had.”
Kamala Harris previously shared that she worked at Bay Area McDonald’s back in 1983.
Trump, while working the drive-thru on Sunday at a Pennsylvania McDonal’ds shared, “I’ve now worked (at McDonald’s) for 15 minutes more than Kamala.”
MCDONALD’S: McDonald’s stated it has no record of Kamala Harris ever working for the company but they made it clear she is welcome to work at one of its restaurants as Trump did earlier today.

Here’s what the New York Post reported:
McDonald’s said it couldn’t necessarily confirm Vice President Kamala Harris ever took a job at one of its burger joints — but added it was “proud to hear” she had “fond memories” of working there as a teen.
ADVERTISEMENTThe fast-food giant on Sunday extended an invite to Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, to visit one of its restaurants “in order to share how McDonald’s provides meaningful pathways to economic opportunity and feeds and fosters local communities.”
The invite came the same day former President Donald Trump manned the french fry cooker at one of the Golden Arches’ restaurants in battleground Pennsylvania over the weekend.
“While we and our franchisees don’t have records for all positions dating back to the early ’80s, what makes ‘1 in 8’ so powerful is the shared experience so many Americans have had,” the company said in a lengthy statement that was posted on X.
The “1 in 8” is a reference to an oft-cited statistic indicating that one out of every eight Americans has at one point worked at a McDonald’s.
The vice president claimed she worked the cash register and made fries at a Bay Area McDonald’s location during the summer of 1983 while she was on break from pursuing an undergraduate degree at Howard University.
McDonald’s noted in the statement that it was “proud to hear former President Trump’s love for” its products as well as Harris’ “fond memories working under the Arches.”
McDonald’s released an internal statement about Trump’s viral visit to one of their branches in Pennsylvania today.
It notes that Kamala Harris has “fond memories” of working at McDonald’s but they have no records of her actually working there. Incredible. pic.twitter.com/iFeQ0yB0NM

Per Newsweek:
The Trump camp has said, without evidence, it’s a lie. At the same time, the Harris camp has not provided any evidence that the vice president did in fact work at the Golden Arches.
“I’ve now worked [at McDonald’s] for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” the former president said from the drive-thru window on Sunday, wearing an apron over his dress shirt and signature red tie.
ADVERTISEMENTIn a follow-up statement to Newsweek, a spokesperson for the Republican National Committee said: “Lyin’ Kamala lied about ever working at McDonald’s and she is now lying about President Trump’s historic moment making delicious French fries at a McDonald’s in battleground Pennsylvania.”
Harris has recalled working at a McDonald’s that her campaign has identified as the location on Central Avenue in Alameda, Calif., 41 years ago, in the summer of 1983 when she would have been a rising sophomore at Howard University.
Asked repeatedly by Newsweek for more details, the campaign has not responded. McDonald’s corporate office has also not responded to repeated requests for more information, though the company made its first reference to such requests in an internal statement Sunday, saying in part “we and our franchisees don’t have records for all positions dating back to the early ’80s.”
