As WLT Report previously reported, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco reported a man driving a black SUV attempted to present a fake VIP pass at a checkpoint at Trump’s rally in Coachella, California.
Deputies soon after searched the vehicle and discovered the man was in illegal possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine.
Sheriff Bianco shared, “We probably stopped another assassination attempt.”
The suspect has since been identified as Vem Miller and has been taken into custody “on suspicion of possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine.”
Users on social media were quick to find Miller’s social media account and discovered that Miller has attended several RNC events in the last month and even got an arm’s length away from Donald Trump Jr.
Take a look:
Something isn't adding about this whole third assassination attempt thing. This Vem Miller guy was at the RNC, hanging with many prominent figures, including Don Jr.
It's probably undisputed that he had illegal weapons, but why would he bring fake press passes, knowing very well… pic.twitter.com/F2FZfTJgtl

Per The Independent:
Police at Donald Trump’s rally on Saturday in Coachella Valley, California, stopped what a sheriff suggested might have been a third assassination attempt against the former president.
Deputies stopped suspect Vem Miller in a black SUV around 5pm about half a mile from the rally. Police allegedly found him in illegal posession of a shotgun, loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine. Miller allegedly presented fake VIP and press passes at a checkpoint.
“They were different enough to cause the deputies alarm,” Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco told the Southern California News Group on Sunday. “We probably stopped another assassination attempt.”
Miller was described in a police press release as a 49-year-old resident of Las Vegas.
“Miller was taken into custody without incident and later booked at the John J. Benoit Detention Center for possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine,” the sheriff’s office said in the release. “This incident did not impact the safety of former President.
