As Hurricane Helene’s aftermath unfolds, media chatter about the storm’s impact on the 2024 election is heating up.
But when asked, President Donald Trump shut it down with a sharp response: “I’m not thinking about voters right now. I’m thinking about lives.”
He wasn’t done there.
Trump made it clear his focus is on rescue efforts, not the ballot box.
Meanwhile, a report from The Post notes that nearly a quarter of his 2020 voters in key states now find themselves in federal disaster zones.
And oddly enough, they’re mainly Republicans.
This is raising questions about how this could sway the next election.
And was this one of the reasons someone flipped the ‘hurricane switch’?

RTM reports:
In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastating impact on the southeastern United States, questions are swirling about the federal government’s response to the disaster.
Legacy media outlets have discussed how the Hurricane could impact the 2024 election.
Trump was recently asked about this, to which he gave a fiery response: “I’m not thinking about voters right now. I’m thinking about lives.”“A lot of lives lost,” he continued, referencing the damage done already by Hurricane Helene. “A lot of people missing and that’s what I’d be focused on right now.”
The Post’s report, titled “If Helene affects voting, Trump may pay the price,” reveals a startling statistic: nearly a quarter of 2020 Trump voters in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas reside in counties now designated as federal disaster areas.
This geographic overlap between storm-affected regions and Trump’s support base has sparked intense speculation about the potential electoral consequences.
The counties included in federal disaster declarations showed stronger support for Trump compared to unaffected areas in all four states, per the Post’s analysis.
In Georgia and North Carolina, counties outside the disaster zones leaned more towards Biden.
Seems there’s a lot happening in North Carolina behind the curtains.
Lot’s of covert motives.
But alas, they will all be exposed.

Would you look at those numbers.
Very curious…
26 out of the 28 North Carolina counties wrecked by Hurricane Helene voted for President Trump (2020).
