60 Minutes Just Ended Kamala’s Campaign

CBS Correspondent Bill Whitaker may have just ended Kamala Harris’s campaign.

While interviewing Harris, CBS Correspondent Bill Whitaker didn’t take it easy on the Democrat presidential nominee and caught Harris completely off guard.

During one part of the interview, Whitaker called out Harris for not representing democracy.

Whitaker stated, “You were basically handed the nomination. There was no primary process. There were no votes. That’s not how our system was intended to work.”

Harris responded, “I am proud to have earned the support of enough delegates to become the Democrat nominee.”

During another part of the interview, Whitaker grilled Harris about her handling of the border crisis.

Whitaker also called out Walz for his lies:

Per The Hindustan Times:

Vice President Kamala Harris looked very uncomfortable and out of words as she tried to answer tough questions on CBS News’ 60 Minutes. Host Bill Whitaker scrutinised her over the Biden administration’s handling of border policies, how would she pay for her economic plan, and how she’d confront Russia over its war in Ukraine.

Whitaker, acknowledging his years of reporting on border issues, noted that there was an ‘historic flood’ of undocumented immigrants in the first three years of Harris’s administration, asking, “Was it a mistake to loosen the immigration policies as much as you did?”

To which Harris reiterated her claim, “It’s a long-standing problem, and solutions are at hand, and from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions,” Harris responded.

Despite her statements, Whitaker pushed back for clarity, asking again about the initial handling of the surge. “What I was asking was, was it a mistake to kind of allow that flood to happen in the first place?”
“I think the policies that we have been proposing are about fixing a problem, not promoting a problem, okay,” Harris responded.

Per The Daily Caller:

Tim Walz’s go-to “knucklehead” refrain couldn’t save him from a poor performance during a “60 Minutes” interview Monday night.

The vice presidential nominee has faced “stolen valor” criticism for allegedly lying about his military record and claiming that he was “a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom,” the U.S. government’s official name for the war in Afghanistan, even though he never actually deployed to the Middle East. During Monday night’s interview on CBS News, correspondent Bill Whitaker asked Walz about his mischaracterizations regarding his military service and his visits to China, which the Minnesota governor has more than embellished.

“Is that kind of misrepresentation [about things like the China issue] — isn’t that more than about just being a ‘knucklehead?’” Whitaker asked.

Walz tried to dismiss the concern by pivoting to former President Donald Trump, arguing that he was “expressing emotion, telling a story, getting a date wrong rather than [being] a pathological liar.”

“I will own up to being a knucklehead at times,” he went on to say, “but the folks closest to me know that I keep my word.”

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce also called out Walz following the interview for claiming that his state’s business community “promoted” the paid family and medical leave policy he signed as governor.
