BREAKING: Election Day Terror Plot To Kill Americans Foiled

News is just now becoming available that Federal investigators with the FBI have foiled a plot to kill Americans on Election day.  According to media reports and the Justice Department, an Afghan citizen in Oklahoma has been charged with the plot, and unsealed court documents are bringing the details to light.

Here’s the video that just dropped on Fox News with the immediate details of the story:

According to a related Fox News report, the man has been charged the the Justice Department, and had already moved his family overseas prior to the planned attack, allegedly to shield them from the aftermath.

Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, obtained firearms and ammunition to conduct a violent attack on U.S. soil, as well as taking a number of steps to prepare for the plot, authorities said.

“As charged, the Justice Department foiled the defendant’s plot to acquire semi-automatic weapons and commit a violent attack in the name of ISIS on U.S. soil on Election Day,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland.

Ahead of the planned attack, Tawhedi allegedly liquidated his family’s assets, resettled members of his family overseas, acquired AK-47 assault rifles and ammunition.

The Justice Department has released the following announcement concerning the plot, and the charges filled against Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, which includes details of his alleged involvement in ISIS communications and fund-raising for the terror group.

At this time I am unaware of any information that would indicate a larger group planning to execute the alleged plot, and only Tawhedi and one other individual are mentioned in the following document released by the Justice Department.

According to ABC News, the man entered the U.S. in September on a special immigrant visa, and the unsealed documents refer to another co-conspirator who is also reportedly an Afghani citizen with permanent resident status in the United States, and is apparently a minor.

According to the complaint, Tawhedi entered the U.S. in September 2021 on a special immigrant visa and is currently on parole status pending adjudication of his immigration proceedings.

The charging documents additionally reference at least one co-conspirator, who is identified as a citizen of Afghanistan with legal permanent resident status who also resides in Oklahoma but is a juvenile.

FBI investigators say they obtained images, posts and texts from devices belonging to Tawhedi that showed his adherence to ISIS’ ideology. They also tracked financial activity which allegedly showed he donated to a charity which fronts for and funnels money to ISIS.

The complaint cites multiple messages Tawhedi allegedly sent over Telegram in which he discussed obtaining AK-47 rifles to carry out his attack.

In other messages, Tawhedi discussed how he had sold his house for $185,000 and made plans to relocate his family in the months leading up to his planned attack.

Several confidential sources for the FBI later made contact with Tawhedi and recorded meetings with him to discuss a deal to obtain two AK-47s that he planned to use in the attack. He and his co-conspirator were arrested Monday after they executed the sham gun deal, the court documents say.

This is a developing story, and we will bring you more information as it becomes available.  At a time when the information warfare and the intentional deceit of American citizens is at an all time high, I can not help but wonder exactly what part the FBI may have played in orchestrating this event… as opposed to simply stopping an already planned plot from moving forward.

The news is coming fast and furious lately, with the battle for simply staying on top of it reaching a fevered pitch.  As I stated, this is breaking news and the first information available is often not the full, or even true, story.  We will bring you more as it becomes available.
