Trump Had To Cancel Wisconsin Event Due To Secret Service Not Having Enought Assets To Secure Event

A whistleblower has revealed that a Secret Service agent told President Trump’s team that it didn’t have enough assets to secure a campaign rally in Wisconsin.

Senator Josh Hawley wrote in a letter to the Acting Director of thethat Secret Service  the “Secret Service effectively forced the Trump campaign to cancel an upcoming event in Wisconsin.”

“Other whistleblowers with knowledge of Secret Service planning protocols allege that failure to provide protection for a major public event is highly unusual and that a sitting president would never be denied resources in this way,” added Hawley.

Hawley also noted in his letter that the same night Trump’s rally was supposed to take place, the Secret Service secured a rally for Kamala Harris in Madison, Wisconsin.

Check out what The Post Millenial reported:

A whistleblower has come forward alleging that the Secret Service told former President Donald Trump’s team that it didn’t have sufficient resources to secure a rally the campaign wanted to hold in Wisconsin. Senator Josh Hawley revealed that the whistleblower’s account was provided to his office.

In a letter to Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe, Hawley asked if the denial occurred noting that if so, the Secret Service “effectively forced the Trump campaign to cancel an upcoming event in Wisconsin.”

Hawley continued, “Other whistleblowers with knowledge of Secret Service planning protocols allege that failure to provide protection for a major public event is highly unusual and that a sitting president would never be denied resources in this way.”

If the whistleblower’s allegations are accurate, Hawley noted that the claims contradict what Rowe said during a press conference last Friday held to provide an update on the Secret Service’s internal investigation into the first of two assassination attempts on Trump. During the presser, Rowe claimed Trump is “getting everything that the current president has with respect to Secret Service assets.”

Hawley added, “That same night, Secret Service secured a rally for Vice President [Kamala] Harris in Madison, Wisconsin.”

“Yet, according to a whistleblower with direct knowledge of that exchange, Secret Service recently told the Trump campaign that it did not have sufficient assets to secure a potential campaign rally in Wisconsin for the former president.”

Per The Washington Times:

The Secret Service allegedly told former President Donald Trump’s team that it did not have sufficient assets to secure a rally the campaign wanted to hold in Wisconsin, according to a new whistleblower account.

A person with direct knowledge of the exchange provided the whistleblower’s account to Sen. Josh Hawley’s office.
In a letter to Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe, the Missouri Republican asked whether such a denial ever occurred.

The whistleblower alleged that the Secret Service “effectively forced the Trump campaign to cancel an upcoming event in Wisconsin,” Mr. Hawley wrote. He did not share any details on the timing or location of the planned event.

“Other whistleblowers with knowledge of Secret Service planning protocols allege that failure to provide protection for a major public event is highly unusual and that a sitting president would never be denied resources in this way,” Mr. Hawley said.
