Happy Sunday friends!
As we always like to do around here, I have a wonderful Gospel message for you on this Sunday afternoon.
From our good friend Pastor Robb Goodman:
In today’s message, we will discuss what it’s like to bear the image of our God.
We will go through a lot of scriptures like we always do.
That will cause you to understand what bearing the image of God really means.
I pray that the Lord would give you great revelation and understanding about the image of the Lord and how we bear his glory in our own bodies.
To me, this is always been a very exciting topic and I really enjoy studying it.
ADVERTISEMENTMade the lord bless you with wisdom and understanding as you travel with us through the Word of God.
May Holy Spirit give you great understanding and wisdom in this subject topic.
Also as always please continue to pray for President Trump. He needs our prayers like never before.
In His Love,
Pastor Robb Goodman Sr Pastor of Zion Freedom Fellowship USA

Good Sunday morning to all of my ZFF friends around the world! This is Pastor Rob Goodman, and I am the lead or senior pastor here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in beautiful Maryland, in the good old United States of America. Praise be to God! I’m glad that you’re with us this morning. I pray that as I greet you on this beautiful Sunday, September 23rd—can you believe it? Oh my gosh, I’m telling you, it is just too much, too hard to believe how quickly September is flying by.
Well, I’m glad that you’re here with us today. I have a wonderful message for you, and I’ll share that title with you in just a few moments. But before we start, let’s go ahead and pray.
Heavenly Father, we come into your presence in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I thank you that you will place your words in my mouth—whatever I speak or say today comes directly from the Throne of God’s grace. Thank you, Lord, that we can come boldly before your throne of grace to obtain mercy and to find grace in help in our time of need.
Lord, no matter what our needs are, no matter how big or small, you are able to meet us in that need. In fact, we all know what Philippians 4:19 says: that God will meet every need according to His riches in glory by and through Jesus Christ, His Son. Everything comes through Jesus—no matter what it is, everything comes through the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who has taken away every sin of this evil world.
Father, we thank you that Jesus bore those sins for us, so we don’t have to bear them ourselves. Lord, we stand in a place of justification through the blood and faith in what Jesus Christ has done. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and all iniquity, and He will remember them no more. Oh Father, what a beautiful promise! We praise you and thank you that your mighty hand is upon your people.
Lord, let the Word of God explode in their hearts and minds. Let that renewing process, Father, take place in all of their minds in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, you know what it’s like to be human. You know what it’s like, Jesus, to walk this earth and be tempted, and yet you were tempted in every way that mankind is tested. Yet, you never once sinned, and you went to that cross willingly. You went to that cross because you were willing to go on our behalf.
Thank you so much, Lord, that you have cleansed us from all sin and all iniquity. We praise you and thank you for all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Well, the title of today’s message is called Bearing the Image of God. Bearing the image. We’re going to talk about what the image of God is, and we’re going to go through many scriptures today, so just hang in there with me till we get through this. Blessed be the name of the Lord! We are so grateful for the Word of God. You know, the Word of God renews our mind. If we commit to studying and reading the Word of God, the Word of God will change us; it will renew our mind. And we are blessed because we have promises from God that are in place for all of us to receive and enjoy. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
Well, Bearing the Image of God. Thank you, Lord! We pray those things in the mighty name of Jesus.
Let’s go to Genesis, chapter 1, and we are going to look at verses 26 and 27. And I’m reading out of the New King James version.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image.”
Now, what’s interesting about this, of course, is that we always know that a new sentence begins with a capital letter, but “us” is also capitalized, and “our” is capitalized. That’s really quite interesting; I just noticed that today.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. Let them have dominion, power, and authority over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Well, most people don’t like creepy things, but God’s talking about the creeping things that creep on the earth. They crawl, they walk, they scurry about—amen!
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him. Male and female, He created them.
Now, that is truth right there. God created man and woman. He didn’t create—He created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve! Amen! Praise be to God. God knows what He is doing, and we need to follow this pattern in our life.
And verse 28 says:
Then God blessed them, and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Praise God!
Then God said, in verse 29:
“See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food.” And it was so.
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.
Isn’t that wonderful?
You know, there are many creation scientists nowadays. In the past, you didn’t have many of them, or they were outweighed. But today, there are many creation scientists that believe that God created the heavens and the earth. They just don’t believe in the Big Bang Theory. Well, I’m very grateful for that, because we can learn a lot.
By the way, I wanted to share with you—most of you can get YouTube. I would recommend that you listen to Pastor Rick Renner’s visit to Noah’s Ark. It was like—I think it was like a week, maybe, no, it was 10 days—that they did episodes of the Ark. It was phenomenal! I mean, I learned things I never knew or understood before. Pam and I watched that, and it’s just really something. I really want to share that with you. Go online onto YouTube and look up Rick Renner, and all of his messages will come up. He just finished a series yesterday, but this was like the week before and the week before that. So, you’ll be able to find his messages. Dive into that—it’s really beautiful and wonderful.
Thank you, Lord!
